Day 5:

Where did they learn their abilities?
Camille was taught the bass from middle school age by the bassist of her grandfather's band, Sebastian Louviere. After learning intensely under him for 6 years, she moved to Detroit and picked up technique from studio bassist while under a major recording label.
Her singing is a natural talent, a trait common in her family, as both of her grandparents are gifted vocalists, as was her mother, and she toned her voice being brought up in the church and singing there.
She acquired her culinary skills from her grandmother over the years she lived with her.
If they have an income, where does it come from?
Camille works. Her money comes from her employ.
Do they have a job? Do they like it? How do they feel about their co-workers?
She has two jobs. Both are at cafe/bakery/bars where she serves and takes tips. She hates her jobs equally, and detests her management, though she is assistant manager at her day job.
She is irritated and thinks her co-workers are useless, as they seem to have trouble completing even the simplest of tasks without asking for her assistance. She generally believes them to be idiots and would rather not be bothered with them.

What are some of your character’s hobbies? What do they do with their time?
Camille daydreams often. She is pressed in her off time, and often either spends it around people she enjoys or sleeps. The little free time she has is spent either trying to write songs, learning what new techniques she can pick up on the bass, listening to music, or learning the guitar
Favorite color?
Peach.
Favorite music artists? Movies or TV shows? Books or authors? Actors?

Camille does not read for leisure and has neither a favorite book or author.
She would like older actors, as they would tie up with nostalgia from living at home. Her grandparents would watch old films.
Political stance? Are they active in politics or do they not care?
Camille does not have any specific political stance, and she has never voted. She sees politics as something beyond her understanding and to be left up to either the very wealthy or very intelligent. She doesn't "not care", but it isn't something she is upfront about.
Generally speaking, she is anti-war, and would probably vote democrat, though she does have many conservative mindsets.
What are some of their pet peeves?
Camille dislikes when others use large words excessively, or mention secondary education very often. She doesn't like when people talk about sex or sexual acts, she is often irritated by flirtation or vulgar compliments. She does not like when her tastes are questioned, or when she is insulted, however subtly. She doesn't like when people talk negatively about the south or her upbringing. She doesn't like when others talk badly about her friends. She does not like pompous attitudes. She doesn't like when people speak of something she is ignorant to.
What sort of gifts do they like?
Camille would like gifts that would last, either through practical use or with memories gathered. So taking her somewhere she would have a good time or buying her new bass strings or seasonings would be examples of gifts she would like.
What is their favorite time of day? Favorite weather? Season?
Late afternoon or dusk.
Clear skies, hot or warm. Camille is actually a fan of sweltering heat if it's outside.
Spring.
Where do they like to spend their time?
At home, if she isn't with company. If she is with someone whose company she enjoys, the place doesn't particularly matter as long as she isn't at work. She hates the cafe.
Favorite food? Favorite drink? Hot drinks, soft drinks, or alcohol?
Camille adores all Cajun cuisine, she loves barbecue, also. And desserts.
Her favorite drink would be overly-sweetened tea or lemonade. Or water.
Her favorite hot drink is black coffee
Her favorite soft drink would probably some fruit soda that could only be found where she's from, so currently Coca-Cola
She likes bourbon and rum

Giraffes
Do they have any pets? Do they want any?
No, and no. Camille only sees a pet as a financial drain in her current verse
What relaxes them?
Certain people relax her. Fond memories, certain music, and playing her bass relaxes her greatly.
Do they have any bad habits?
Camille has a habit of taking innocent or uninformed comments personally and as an insult to her intelligence. She has a worse habit of resorting to verbal and physical violence very quickly if offended.
Also, her cigar-smoking and drinking are bad habits.

Day 3:
Choose a different time period and describe what your character would have been like in that time period.
I imagine Camille in the 1920's during the prohibition as a singer in a colored speakeasy.
Generally, she would be the same, have the same attitude and be generally as mean and headstrong have having an equally hard head. She would not have been a bassist in this era--her musical aspirations would only involve singing. She also wouldn't have worn her hair naturally in this era, but would have stuck to the mold with the coiffed chignons and finger waves.
She would still be in Harlem, but it would be by choice, since the bigger names were more up north as far as show business.
During the day, she would waitress at a segregated malt shop. Her living conditions would not be any different.
