She bites her lip at the sharp response- It might’ve been a bit insensitive saying that right after what she’d been through.
“Sorry, here-” she remedies, offering the girl a hand to help her back onto her feet. Her brow furrows as she looks over the bloody scratches and bruises welling on the other’s skin before her gaze turns toward the other side of the alleyway. For now, it seemed that the small group of schmucks that were responsible for the girl’s injuries had turned the corner- Hopefully they won’t come back.
She had expected to see some similarities to her own Conton- things like architecture, the nature parks, the floating islands surrounding the main hub, and familiar faces. Those were welcome similarities in an otherwise very different place while she was out here, scouting and keeping an eye out for a certain somebody conducting his shenanigans.
Unfortunately, some, less savory things, were a constant alongside the sights and scenery- crooks, gangs, and their subsequent bullying of those they deemed as their lessers for one reason or another.
“Let’s get you up and out of here, can you walk, miss--?” she trails off, leaving it in the other girl’s hands to decide if she was comfortable enough to share her name with her, some random stranger. Regardless of the girl’s response, she was already making a note in her head to try and see about getting her wounds cleaned up as soon as they could- she had a capsule with a water in a pack for that, but she’d prefer to help her clean up someplace a bit cleaner than here.
