A few boring old person impulse buys this evening!
I needed to pop over to the local shopping center to pick up a prescription that I'd accidentally let run out but the pharmacy there that I'm not currently mad at did have in stock. Mr. C tagged along, and we decided to swing through the grocery store across from it on the way out.
So, now we've got some sunflower seeds and corn nuts to snack on. I couldn't resist browsing the spices some, and fixed our lack of garam masala. Also spotted that deodorant and grabbed it on the way to the registers. Don't know how I'll like that variety, but basic antiperspirant sticks are oddly scarce here so I'm game to try it.
The depiction on that bag was pretty accurate, BTW. Those are some gigantic variety of sunflower seeds. Interested to get that, because I was looking at another clear bag with giant Turkish sunflower seeds--but, those were plain unsalted, so I picked up a different salty brand.
Also trying one Mr. C spotted and grabbed on impulse: some funny tall bag of a slightly strange Austrian take on cheese puff rings, pizza flavored. Not sure they scream pizza, but the taste and texture are not too bad. I was also ready for a snack. Evidently, so was he.
