a hint for something i’m cooking up….
@riotsgrl helped me with the idea and i’m so so excited about it
"Power, real power, doesn’t come to those who were born strongest, or fastest, or smartest. No. It comes to those who will do anything to achieve it."
🌺 and 🍎 for the plural experiences ask game?
🌺 (hibiscus) - Is there a "common" plural experience that you don't experience?
Not particularly? I guess we don't have a particularly high or low sysmember count? We're more than we have here, but less than people could guess.
🍎 (apple) - What advice would you give to a singlet looking to be an ally?
Listen, just, listen to the system you're talking to, every system is different in experiences and needs, try to understand a bit how they see themselves; if they want to be seen as separate or otherwise, if they want to be acknowledged as a system. Don't be upset if one member in a system doesn't trust you but others do, just work on gaining that trust, like anyone else.
2, 8, 11 for the asks :)
2: What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
my most recent watch was train dreams right before the oscars! the only best picture nominee i didn't end up getting to was the secret agent (which i will def still watch). i loved the cinematography in train dreams, i am from the pacific northwest so it all felt so cozy and familiar. but a lot of the actual story didn't really do it for me, the Dead Wife of it all was a little much for me and personally didn't really land. still a really gorgeous movie and i liked that it delved a little into the complex history of the railroad expansion in the pnw.
8: Favorite month of the year and why?
in the last few years i'd have to say june. we get really beautiful weather, no more school, and it is always the month we do our big student showcase at dance so i get to spend lots of time in the studio. i've become such a summer person in the last few years, i love going to the beach and just setting up to read at the park all day! october is my other favourite month, i love seeing the leaves change colours and halloween is my fav holiday. but usually it's kind of awful as well because i get so busy with school and don't get to see my friends much
11: What kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately?
i have been nonstop listening to the new harry album and esp the first week it came out it felt like every single song was stuck in my head at all times. i used to be on like 1d stan twitter and everything so it feels like a dormant part of me has reawakened. yesterday i had waco, texas stuck in my head all day though so the ethel cain of it all is eternal. i've been alternating the last few days between kattdo and willoughby tucker lmao (also last night out of nowhere my willoughby tucker poster feel off my wall above my bed in the middle of the night and scared the shit out of me?!)
thank you for asking <3 love giving rambly answers to an ask, i haven't done this in forever
