Haven’t been posting due to life issues™️, but I’ve been writing some massive posts. Be on the look out starting next week for:

1: Jewish noses and the antisemitic inclusion of prosthetics throughout history when portraying Jews. Yes, we’ll be talking about Brad don’t worry. Also a ton of others, including actors without prosthetics but those who “look Jewish,” because they’re Italian.

2: You’re so not invited to my Bat Mitzvah thoughts.

3: More on which Jewish stories get told and which don’t.

4: The numerical breakdown of Jewish talent in popular TV shows and movies, and what it all means.

These are just to start. They’re long and I did a lot of research, so I’m still finishing up everything because I like having a bank of things ready to go.

I’m still alive hehe, thank you so much for your kind messages and asks! <333 I will be answering them this evening. Also, i’m sorry for the biggggg delay on them. 

I will be clearing out my inbox so there might be (a lot) more posts from me than usual. This is once in a few months so sorry abt that! I will try to keep better track of them this time! <333 Just know i appreciate each and everyone of them!

Real life has been prettttttty hectic so any time that i have had to spare i tried spending it on making goodies for November. I’m expecting to get more ‘me’ time these following months. I did not announce a hiatus bc i’m not completely inactive. Hopefully it can stay this or even better; i can be more active here as well =)

My lovely and talented friends gave me the sweetest Christmas gift and it's inspired me to make individual posts for all of my fics, because they now have some stunning moodboards to go with them!! Each post will eventually be linked in a masterlist but these all deserve to be seen individually so I guess get ready for that! 🥰

Heads Up

So, Dive to the Future is over, and we’re not going to get anymore Free! until 2020. However, this last season has been the best yet, in my opinion. I’m so excited to see where the series goes from here. 

I cannot stop thinking about this season, so in the coming weeks, I’m going to post about it in a few different ways. Firstly, I’m going to rewatch the season so that way I can have the whole thing fresh in my mind. Then, I’m gonna start pumping out posts. One of the bigger things I’m planning on posting about is Haru’s character development in this season, which was incredible. Another thing I’ll be posting about that isn’t exclusive to the events of this season, but will certainly be enhanced by the events of this season, will be about how various characters have gone through things during the course of the anime that have made swimming painful for them. 

Beyond that, I’ll probably make some more detailed posts on things I’ve already brought up like Asahi and Rei, Ikuya, and an overall opinion of the season. I’m also keen to do some hypothesizing about what’s going to happen in the future of the anime as well as what I think would be cool to see. 

Basically, I’m making this post to let you guys know that a lot is coming. This anime has such a bright future ahead of it, and it just keeps getting better. I’m astounded by the amazing storytelling within Free! and, the more I think about it, the more excited I get.

Hello and greetings again from Camp Gnomewhere! 

It has been a time, but I am back and ready to wrap up camp (finally). Since I’ve been gone for a bit, I wanted to give ya’ll a bit of teaser. 😉

On a side note- thank you all for the well wishes and check-ins! I am doing A LOT better, and the pain is mostly gone at this point. I’m very thankful the green devil has been removed from my body! 🙌

What happened last at Camp~

Violet and Percy said the big “I love you” after Violet thought Percy was going to dump her, and after sneaking out the first few nights- Violet finally engaged in some other extracurricular activities. 

What’s going to happen next? 

🤷 Lots of things...
