Celebrating a beautiful and phenomenal woman at 30 today, Patience Ehi Odokor @pattytfh. She also unveiled her book PATIENCE; 30 Life Lessons. It was wonderful to be the Host of this wonderful celebration and I had the pleasure of officially reading Chapter 1 of the book for all the guests. What a great day it was today at the Virtue Conference Day 1. It truly gladdened my heart to see people mix faith and obedience in line with the Word of God. Amidst all the panic and fear going on in the world, we were able to maintain proper hygiene practices and sit people in a way that social distancing could be observed and still hold our long awaited for Parenting Seminar. Special thanks goes to Pastor Tinu Asegieme @tinuasegieme, Evangelist Chinwe Nwanosike and Irene Bangwell @irene.bangwell for being super amazing and anointed speakers today and really sharing from their hearts in obedience to the leading of God. Thank you Pastor Chineze Okeke, the Chief Host of the event for obeying God and choosing this very important and needful topic. @chineze_okeke. God bless you for your exemplary leadership. No one can help you achieve your dreams and goals besides yourself. People can motivate you, inspire you, coach you, mentor you but the work has to be done by YOU. My mentee @jessenergizer shares her fitness journey with us all on Instagram and it was a long one to her desired weight and fitness goal but SHE DID IT. Her grit and consistency paid off and she looks so amazing that I was motivated to kick off my own fitness plan that suits my lifestyle. As an Image Consultant and Corporate Compere, looking good is a MUST for me so I knew I had to live by example and practice what I preached so I started without any workout clothes, gym membership etc. My vision and motivation was just too big for my excuses to win and just like how I started speaking for a living without support or a large following, I changed my diet and exercised daily and the results are already showing. Today, as I was Compering at the @kingdomladieslive event today, my energy level and confidence was high and I knew that it had to do with the better choices I made mentally, physically and emotionally to be a better, fitter and happier version of me in this new decade. If excuses and procrastination were your friends before, delete them from your life TODAY and make the choice to Get up and Show up for your dreams to come true. My dress designed by @florecersplace is over 3 years old yet fits even better now on me. I am VINTAGE, because I get better and more valuable the older I become.
