So, I’m not gonna lie, I got fics in my arsenal that I am Never going to update again. Like, they were left in 2015 and I plan on leaving them there even if for a while I considered maybe continuing them.
So I had this idea recently.
I still remember what most of my plans for these fics were, some of those plans might even be hiding in my documents somewhere. And I thought ‘Well. I know the entire outline of the fic. Why don’t I just give it to them?’
Like, I’m never going to write the fic. But I know part of the disappointment of losing a fic you really loved is not knowing what happens next. It just kinda feels fair to tell the reader where this was going, right? If I know I’m never gonna update again.
I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while, but I know how people feel about chapters that are just like ‘Yeah, sorry everyone, this fic is dead,’ and this would basically be that, but with extra content.
I dunno, maybe I’ll do it someday. See how it goes over.
