Something I think about a lot:

In the wtnv universe what is the government doing? Not the secret police or anything but like the national government? Does night vale exist in it’s own little world in the multiverse? Like a little gateway between universes and dimensions so therefore it’s like the truman show and u can’t leave? But on a less serious note, it would be absolutely fucking hilarious if the national government knew everything about night vale and just....ignored it. Can you imagine? I don’t know if it’s funnier or sadder that that sounds like something they would do.
