I’m actually really attached to the idea that Flapjack isn’t the palisman of Philip’s brother, but instead the palisman of the unknown potentially Clawthorne woman we can presume Philip’s brother married according to the theories. Because not only is it that Clawthornes have a thing for birds (which yeah, I know marriage would make Philip’s brother a Clawthorne as well but presumably his wife would also have a bird palisman) but it also changes Flapjack and Hunter’s relationship from Flapjack presumably looking after Hunter because he’s the clone of his previous owner (which considering Hunter’s identity issues feels a little off to me) to Flapjack recognizing someone who looks a lot like the husband of his previous owner, someone she loved dearly, and deciding to look after them. Like it feels less “Hunter is the same as Flapjack’s owner” but instead “Flapjack recognizes Hunter is family and needs to be cared for.” I think it would also help Hunter be closer to what is essentially his family without reinforcing the entire “copy of Philip’s brother” thing, instead as his own person

this might just be me, but id really appreciate it if you could make the text bigger in the duck doodle comics.

sorry, that bugs me too, but I’m actually using the same font size as in the official comics (in fact it’s slightly bigger!) the best way to read the pages is to open in a new tab so you can see it in the original 800 pixel wide size it’s meant to be, that or you can wait ‘til the whole thing is complete and then I’ll upload it all full size on my website (and then you can read the whole thing in one go which is. better anyway) :Tb

loling abt my coworker today warning me to Prepare Myself for people's reactions to my transness when the program year kicks up at work, like "people will have the reactions they have" and me looking her square in the face like "i am aware of how people react, yes," like emma i am trans every minute of my life, i am intimately acquainted with the reality of that, thank you. and i know she thinks she's being nice, but the thing is it hits the increasingly frequent button of the Trans Man Infantilization like i am an uwu little baby to be sheltered. meanwhile i smiled through her misgendering me not 10 minutes before that and referring to our cis male coworker as "the only man in this building" and someone coming into my office and shaking my hand in front of her while asking "and what's your name young lady," like. please sugar. do not mistake my pleasantness for naivete. do not mistake my smile for softness.

I forgot to post any art I did here recently because I was feeling so bad. Or talk about dnd at all. I was also feeling very anxious today, but JUST anxious, not sad. I’ll try to remember to post tomorrow though.
