No idea if your drawing requests are still open but I’d love to see your vision for Tommy and Billy as the Demiurge! Do they stay the same? Do they change? Do they become close but not quite like the people they used to be? Like at first glance you think they’re normal but the longer you look the more it seems like they’re acting human in the truest sense, it’s an act and they’re forcing themselves to seem as they were but definitely aren’t.
I’d love to know!
Okay I don’t have a drawing to accompany this (because I am currently procrastinating on my Spanish homework) but I DO think that Tommy and Billy look different as the Demiurge :) or maybe that’s the wrong phrasing: the twins have always looked just a little inhuman, in a way that grows as time goes on. It’s small things, at first— Tommy’s pupils are white like his hair, Billy’s veins don’t look quite right under his skin, things that are noticeable but just odd, more than anything. But those kinds of things grow, as they get older (proportions that don’t quite look right, blood that isn’t the right color, movement that isn’t really possible in a human body) and it’s not like there’s any change, exactly, it’s just that slowly they look different until all of a sudden you look at them and they are so noticeably inhuman that it feels insane to believe that they still are. (Because, well, they aren’t.) Not that they’re anywhere at all close to that point, yet, because like……….. they’re gods. They don’t exactly have an…. expiration date. So I guess they’ll just keep. Becoming more godlike and less human the longer they live. They still act human, but that’s only because they were raised human, and depending on how long they exist for, that would probably start slipping, too.
