A single falink, he got separated from his buddies
From a brand / influencer perspective (I am certainly not claiming to be either of those things, just looking at this the way they approach social media), the most recent (initial?) Tumblr change is extremely funny.
Like, a content creator not being able to track all engagement (positive and negative) on social media is just... absurd. If anyone is trying to run any kind of business through social media, it's generally encouraged to do "social listening" and respond to comments in order to grow community and nurture leads and ultimately make money, etc.. A content creator being able to see all activity on their content is just the baseline for functionality.
Sure, Tumblr doesn't really have bigger brands or influencers anymore, but some people are still running much smaller businesses by driving traffic through this site. These are, imo, the people most likely to pay for premium or business accounts and to pay for reach / content boosts.
If random users can place a dummy comment, then put any negative thing they want on content in a second comment...? With the content creator oblivious to this negative engagement? You could be looking at your content thinking it only got 2 reblogs, that it didn't perform well, that you have to try a different campaign strategy, but unbeknownst to you, the 2nd reblog is actually a rabbit hole of 100k+ reblogs, and your post is maybe actually circulating with a troll review full of lies attached to it.
Incomplete / invisible engagement metrics? Hidden crises on potentially every single thing you post? Requiring a third-party tool to track all of the most basic engagement on content on a social media platform? That's a brand / influencer nightmare. That's an unusable platform and huge liability.
So, that's funny. That's genuinely hilarious to me. If you rolled this out on every other social media platform, you would destroy some brands / influencers practically overnight. Amazing feature.
Darlings. is it gay when the phantom you created as a manifestation of your dreadfull loneliness takes the form of one of your closest friends.
Fanart of this pretty good horror rarijack fanfic, "The haunting of carroussel boutique" personaly i am surprised the writer didnt take the chance to point out how fucking funny this is. Me n kim started laughing about it during stream and i just had to draw this
hello wennberg is still being paid by the blue jackets????
if fred goes (as you're all eagerly waiting for this knowing horner is part of the list ferrari is interested in lol) i hope ferrari succumbs to not only the midfield but backmarker territory and charles gets the fuck out of there end of season THIS year
you keep thinking a tp replacement will solve the team's issue of having a dire lack of talent in the engineering department. enjoy the delusional wasteland you reside in i wish you luck and eternal scuderia ferrari mediocrity
'i don't want people i care about getting hurt because of you'
'🙄ortega can handle themself'
is unfortunately a very funny conversation. especially bc it's followed up seconds later by chen telling sidestep 'ortega is fine don't worry' in the break room when they remark ortega is taking a long time to show up. most obvious person in the rangers headquarters.
So apparently my recent art was kinda timely lmfao. Live & suffer :D
