Being both a Lokean and an MCU Loki fan is a little weird at the best of times, but when I come across a post from a Lokean who actually worships Loki in the form of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, my brain just kind of short circuits. (It’s like that episode of Star Trek: TOS where they confuse an android with the old “He always lies.” “Yes, I’m lying right now.”)

No hate here. Loki’s even weirder than Yahweh when it comes to the whole “works in mysterious ways” thing and I don’t believe I have a right to judge others for their beliefs. (Besides, what are superhero movies/shows if not modern-day mythology about god-like beings?)

For someone like me, though — someone who adores MCU Loki but sees deity Loki very differently — it’s a little like witnessing an MCU-style incursion.
