Vanessa is a bit more harder to say, since I never intended for her to be a yandere. As much has she hates being controlling I think she would be a hypocrite as a yandere, behaving very controlling herself towards the MC as to "protect" them from others. She definitely would verbally insult someone in public, regardless of how embarrassing it would be.
As for Rheji, he's actually quite manipulative himself. His sweet persona is an act, sorta. His feelings are genuine with you but that doesn't mean he isn't up to something behind closed doors. He's very aware of what he does, and doesn't feel bad for it. In fact, he believes he's in the right. I can't say anymore than that, don't wanna spoil :)

Liam - Honestly he’d be worried something is wrong and ask you a bunch of times if you’re okay. He’s just not used to people doing that and associates laying down doing nothing with feeling miserable. He’d eventually get that you’re just chilling and would lay beside you.
Vanessa - Her ideal hangout, in fact the MC and her have done it a few times before. Just wanna chill out and do nothing? She’s all for it. She’d probably do her own thing sitting next to you, on her laptop, watching tv, etc. I’m pretty sure this is called parallel play. She’ll check on you from time to time but knows you’re just relaxing.
Rheji - Honestly he’d like it quite a lot, it’s just you two chilling and hanging out at home. He’d make a quick snack for you both and go back to working his guitar, again very much parallel play here, but he's looking at you a lot whenever he can. (Fun fact, he's never had the mc over before until he got his own apartment. Having strict parents and all, so he's going a bit crazy with you there but is acting all cool about it.)

Liam - He’s getting all hot and bothered, the fact you’re looking at him just sweet talking in his ear is enough to get him blushing stupid. Vanessa - She’d think you’re just being overly nice, I do think if you stared long enough she’d actually get flustered. She’d playfully hit you, telling you “Oh my god shut uppp you ass kisser.” In a way, I see her more as a tsundere. She would think about it later and smile about it.
Rheji - He isn’t used to having such attentiveness onto him so it’d definitely freak him out a bit at first, he’d assume your staring was just you being judgemental and would try to joke about you staring so much. Eventually he’d warm up to your compliments as you being genuine, he’s just not used to anyone caring so much about him. “Jeez MC…you’re staring an awful lot, I hope there’s isn’t something on my face.”

Liam - He’d love every part of it but would also feel a tad bit guilty, like he’s not deserving to be wanted in such extreme ways, but deep down he loves how reassuring it is for him. Definitely some mixed emotions there. The sex would go crazy though, I’m just telling you that. In his eyes you’re much more important than him, to be in your presence alone is a blessing in itself. He’s a bit pathetic, but in a cute way if that’s your thing.
Vanessa - She would HATEEEE a possessive MC. She’s got a particular dislike for controlling/possessive ppl in her life, romantic or not, and actually mentions it in game. That’s not to say she wouldn’t tell you her whereabouts, it’s the fact you don’t trust her at all that would get under her skin. It's like treating her like a child, which she hates. HOWEVER, I do think she’d feel bad at some point that you’re doing everything you can not to show it, she appreciates that you’re trying.
Rheji - It’d probably make him feel all flustered, mostly because he’s never had someone be possessive over him. But you trying to hide it does make him feel all the more special, he’d be genuinely surprised he even caused you to feel this way. I think he would kinda like it.

Yes. He's taken a lot more than just clothes, but he picks certain things to not raise too much suspicion, usually unimportant and easily forgettable items. A pen you left aside? You can buy a new one. Hairbands/hairclips you can't seem to find? Just get another pack. Used napkins you threw away after wiping your mouth? Hmm yeah, he just takes a few things sometimes ;)
On the rare occasions, he'll steal clothes, especially ones that still have the scent of you, dirty or not.
Rheji secrets? Hmmm, he often dreams of kissing you. What your lips would feel like against his, the warmth of them, what you'd taste like. I actually take a lot of inspo from mangas I read, I tend to really like the styles and expressions and have tried to mimic it sorta but in my own style.
I don't always feel so confident in my art and try to focus on making it for fun rather than it being perfect (cryinngggg ;-;) so I really appreciate this!! Comparison really IS the theft of joy.

1. "How do the three act when jealous?"
This definitely depends on a situation that caused the jealousy to spark in the first place, certain things that would result in different reactions so it’s a bit hard to say. However, to put it in general:
Liam - He’ll try to hide it but he gets furiously jealous. He’d act all fine and normal with you, but whenever you have your back turned he’s dogging down at whoever is getting more attention than him. He won’t say anything but if you’re talking with someone too much he’ll slip by and wrap his arm around you, give kisses on your cheek, and be overly affectionate in public as a means to tell the other person you’re his. He’s not shy to physically insert himself between you and the other person, but would try to be subtle about it.
“Oh hey, what are we talking about here? Mind if I butt in?”
Vanessa - Very passive-aggressive, and may even give you the silent treatment if you really piss her off. In public she’d probably be really closed off with you and seem disinterested, but you can probably ease her jealousy with a bit of reassurance and affection. Worst comes to serve, she’d ask you directly about a situation if it rubbed her the wrong way, she’s pretty open to how she feels and will let you know it. She’d only give you the silent treatment if you were purposely ignoring her first.

Rheji - He gets terribly jealous, might even say a few side remarks that’ll slip out from time to time if he isn’t careful. In a silly way, he’d be quietly hating from a distance, but it would definitely make him feel insecure about himself. He wouldn’t be upset at you but rather at the situation/person that’s making him jealous. Maybe trying to hint at pulling you away from the person/situation if he can.
“Man, this party sucks. Don’t you just wanna head out of here?"

Liam - Would find a shy MC so adorable, trying to reassure them that “there’s nothing to be shy about” and stay patient with them. On the other hand, flirting with him when you get comfortable would definitely catch him off guard, you’d have him stumbling over his words until he quickly shut up from how embarrassed he gets of himself.
Vanessa - Would tease you beyond belief as a shy MC. You’d definitely surprise her with a sudden flirty attitude, but I do think she would like it and openly flirt back with you. She’s usually not one to be thrown off by flirty people, in fact, she works as a bartender so of course she’s used to it. The only difference is it’s the MC and not some customer, so a switch like that would surprise her, just a little bit.
Rheji - Would find it very sweet and want to be as understanding as possible to a shy MC. I think being flirty with him once you're comfortable would also surprise him at first. He’d take it as a joke and think you’re just being funny, although part of him wants to believe you’re seriously flirting with him.

Short answer -He's between a clingy and an overprotective yandere, definitely a bit of delusion in there.
Long answer - He genuinely believes meeting the MC was fate and that the two of you are meant to be together. Your acceptance and reciprocation towards his love is all he truly wants from you. He doesn't want to force you to love him, but instead thinks if the two of you spend more time together he's bound to win your heart over time.
Even if it means holding you hostage against your will, even if you absolutely hate him and try to hurt him, he'll be patient just for you. He justifies it in his mind "it'll happen in due time" and that "you'll realize your feelings for me eventually" kind of thinking.
On the other hand, he'll listen to you....to an extent.
If he feels that you aren't "in the right headspace" (ironic of him to say) he WILL feel the need to make decisions for you. While he would never bring physical harm onto you, the same cannot be said about your friends. He won't hesitate on "handling" anyone that's a threat to either you or him.

Liam would absolutely adore a clingy MC, since he is very clingy himself. He'd find it very sweet and would feed into it, anything as a means to keep you close to him. It honestly wouldn't bug him in the slightest. He would also love a bubbly MC, just coming up to him and chatting about whatever would bring up his spirits.
Vanessa would think it's cute. She'd tease you like you're a kid for it but wouldn't stop you from being clingy or bubbly with her. In a comedic way, I imagine her walking around her home doing things while the MC is hugged onto her leg, which she wouldn't mind all that much.
Rheji would be so flustered at a clingy MC, he'd try to act all cool for you but internally he is dying of how cute you look at wanting to be near him. Genuinely he would think he's dreaming or something, how could this be real!? You'd be sending him to overdrive.

Hello anon! I'm doing okay and appreciate you asking :D Also, you have nothing to apologize for! I think I understand your questions well so far.
I apologize for not getting to these questions sooner, I wanted to give as much details as I could :) So these will be long answers!
1. "We know the MC has an ex-partner. Will we see they again later in the visual novel?"
Yes! The MC has an ex boyfriend that will appear in day 2, as of now I'll tell you his name is Ivan and that he's an ex for a good reason. -_-
2. "What kind of movies or video games do the characters prefer?"
Some of them enjoy movies more than videos game, and vice versa.
Liam he doesn't play games very often, but when he does he's more like an old grandpa playing tetris or any other puzzle game. I think he'd be a big fan of period drama romances, he'd say "Nah, that stuff isn't for me" but if you're sneaky you can catch him locked in on the movie when no one is around. Otherwise, he'll try a game with you if you asked.
Vanessa would definitely be into mario kart or maybe mario party if you suggested it. She'll try any fun competitive game that isn't too stressful, maybe even stardew valley. Something relaxing and repetitive is more of her thing. She's a sucker for dramas, and true crime documentaries.
Rheji is likely the most competitive person on this list. He'd play games like overwatch, helldivers 2, or any other game that has an objective or PvP kind of setup. He actually likes old horror movies, those being the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream, Halloween, Friday the 13th, and The Thing.
3. "What were your inspirations for Liam, Vanessa, and Emma? What kind of music do your characters like?"
Liam was a bit inspired by JD from heathers, the whole social outcast and pessimistic outlook on life felt like it fit him best. Although, he's much nicer than when he was a teenager. I mainly wanted him to have a grunge look. Fun fact, Liam isn’t his real name, it’s just a nickname that he prefers. He likes indie rock, and mostly divorce dad rock.
Vanessa didn't really have a main inspo if I’m gonna be honest with you guys. I will say Maddy from euphoria was a bit of inspo, if I had to pick a character. She’s definitely headstrong with how she feels about things but it’s all because she cares about the MC a lot. She’s a down-to-earth kind of person who tries to act unbothered but it’s not always easy. She would definitely listen to r&b and a bit of bossa nova, like slow/calm jazz music.
Emma’s inspo was a bit more on purpose, by that I mean her characters inspo were Cassie from euphoria, and Leila from grand army. She’s got this whole “pick me” mindset but can be very likeable at first introduction. She’s the type of person that’s very sweet to you but will quickly leave and forget about you. It’s why she’s friends with the MC, and how she used to be besties with Vanessa, but some drama went down between them that broke the friendship. She’d probably listen to alternative pop, she’s very into coquette culture in a very toxic way, but she's very subtle about it. Definitely wanna watch out for this one.
Rheji’s biggest inspo was John Ambrose from ‘To all the boys I’ve loved before’ from the second film, at least personality-wise. I always pictured him being this ‘boy-next-door’ kind of guy at first glance, and having a caring nature to him. As for music, I think he’d be really into alternative rock, or even the shoegaze genre, really anything with a guitar in a song since it’s something he’s quite into.
4. "How do the characters get along with their families? Why did they fall in love with the MC? (If this is a spoiler, you don't have to answer.)"
Liam has only ever been close with his mother and his grandparents, his dad is wholeeee other story. The two of them don’t get along at all, and have grown distant ever since Liam’s mom had passed away when he was a kid. To say their relationship is bad is an understatement, he absolutely despises him, hates him, just wants nothing to do with him. On the other hand, he likes to visit his grandparents very often from his mother’s side, just to still feel close to her. They’re very sweet people, just like his mother was. She definitely had a huge impact on Liam for the better, but obviously the poor guy is still troubled even as an adult. There is a reason as to why Liam fell in love with the MC, but it’s a bit of a spoiler. I can only say that he truly believes the MC is a good, kindhearted person, which is what attracted him in the first place. He has never felt this way about anyone before, which makes the MC all the more special to him.
Vanessa does have a close relationship with her mom and younger brother Pepper, but is estranged with her dad. There’s some childhood memories but he left the picture quickly, as an adult her father has been reaching out to her more. He feels a lot of guilt for being a deadbeat to her, and needless to say it’s awkward between the two. Her and Pepper share an apartment together since he can’t financially live on his own, they bicker sometimes but it’s only out of love and worry on her part. She goes on coffee dates, and fun outings with her mom pretty often. I don’t know if I’d say she’s in love with the MC, but she’s definitely got a huge crush on them, which if pursued, could absolutely turn into love. The first time she met the MC was in their apartment’s laundromat, she was having trouble with one of the machines not working and the MC was there to notice it. They offered up their spot for her to use first, which she greatly appreciated. I think at that moment, the MC’s kind act caused Vanessa to start crushing on them.
Rheji does have a good relationship with his family for the most part, but with being the oldest between his siblings, his parents had always given him a hard time. “Be a good example” “Don’t do this, don’t do that” were things he heard a lot growing up, while his younger siblings were given much more grace than he did. It’s made him feel a bit like an outcast at times, or even forgotten about. He’s got a better relationship with his younger sisters than with his parents. If anything they’ve been incredibly strict on him since he was their first, which can be challenging in itself, because of this he had to find some kind of safe outlet growing up. Meeting the MC really helped him through his hardship. The first time they met was back in middle school/secondary school, and the two of them just clicked instantly. Their history goes way back and for Rheji, is the main reason he started developing feelings for the MC. In all honesty, he’s always liked the mc from the start, as they got older his little crush only became more and more prominent. Unfortunately, he’s just too shy to say anything. Mostly because he’s terrified of the MC ever leaving him.
