The man on the radio is standing in for the usual man on the radio. I have mentioned this man on the radio before. He likes to push buttons ... seemingly at random. The 3 minute misery news was far away and quiet ... the adverts alternate between distant whispers and ear grabbing assaults ... but the music is spot on, so i don't need to decide to change station. No sign of the traffic lady, therefore all must be well. Who knew that Bank Holidays ensured a smooth flow of vehicles?
My dandelion obsession continues. And why not? Dandy and lionish and in plentiful supply. Between the dandelions and the swathes of rapeseed in the surrounding fields I can imagine there is sunshine. Yesterday was sunshine glorious, today is the usual grey and grimble with an indeterminate temperature.
This indeterminate temperature has led to today's endless question.
To light the stove ... to not light the stove? I could light it, or I could not light it ... I could continue to contemplate lighting it or continue to contemplate not lighting it ... or I could talk to both the cats and dogs about whether I should, or should not, light the stove.
I shall have coffee. An easy decision.
And put on another jumper.
And continue indecisively through the day.
After all ... the cats and dogs remain silent on the matter. They are silent but quizzical for most questions I pose. Unless, of course, biscuits are involved.
Hmmmm ... biscuits ... now which ones should I have?
