Generally, the colour red represents blood, fire, excitement and militancy, but also warmth, passion, enthusiasm and exuberance, among other emotions.
This is in line with the complex image of wine, for example, during the Middle Ages it was a symbol of creative inspiration and resistance to domination in Spain, during the Spanish Civil War it became a symbol of violence and depravity, and nowadays it is a part of the Spanish people's life, with the bar becoming the third place outside of the workplace, and representing the warmth and hospitality of the Spanish people.
