India 2011- Dan had a new teammate for the Indian GP- Narain Karthikeyan, who he had replaced earlier in the year. Originally Dan was supposed to skip the race but as Red Bull were paying HRT for Dan's seat Liuzzi was made give up his seat for Karthikeyan's return for his home GP.

Dan would quali P21 but start P23 after a 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change. He would finish the race in P18.
