Genre: AU, Mystery, Fantasy
Summary: Park Jimin is a rookie detective at the flashiest department in Seoul Metropolitan. When he’s tasked to work with Min Yoongi - an apathetic, disgraced cop handling the ineffective cold case division - he doesn’t expect the murder case they’re working on to turn intensely personal.

The author of this fic must have an abnormally large head to fit that massive brain. I don’t understand how this fic came to be and I think trying to understand the process would cause a malfunction.
Beware that the second half of the fic reads like a marathon. This isn’t a bad thing, but it’s exhaustive if you’re in the wrong mood.
Spoiler //
The ending is happy, but it’s a bleak kind of happy, like a band-aid on a bullet wound paired with halfhearted optimism. It’s incredible yes, but not for suited for the faint of heart. //
