DESI DARK ACADEMIA (UDAIPUR/ My aesthetic)

• Waking up early to Meditate and do yoga.

• Starting your day by listening to never ending traffic noises of Udiya pole but you love it, living near both the Railway and Bus station. Seeing people going or coming back to their Homes.

• Skipping homemade breakfast so you can eat "kachori" and 'Samosa' in old city (the best street food in Udaipur)

• Wearing flowers in your hair and using dried Roses as bookmarks

• strolling through your grandparents Haweli and thinking about your ancestors and their stories

• Going to Gulaab Baagh to learn how to scate and eating the best Aloo paratha there

• Taking the Rope way to 'Karni Mata Mandir' too see the most beautiful sunsets

• Wandering through City Palace and answering the questions of tourists about the history cause you know the Guides can never do justice with that

• Learning how to wear a Saree/ Rajputi Poshak from your mumma hukum

• Never Having enough jhumkas and Juttis

• Sitting at Ambrai Ghat at evening, someone's singing something on their guitar while you write poems about ur love

• Making Chai for your whole family in afternoon and listening your dad's favorite songs on Radio

• Dancing crazily on your balcony when it rains

• Going to Fateh Sagar to just observe people and have that famous coffee and channa chor Garam

• at night lighting a candle near your room's window and reading the forbidden books

Desi Dark Academia Fashion

I am not really good at this whole fashion thing but I'll tell you what I wear on a regular day for university and may be you can also try it.

Short Kurtis in bright colors or earthy shades

Jeans and Jackets in winter ( preferably Denim but you can also wear a leather jacket)

Oxidised jewellery (keep it minimal tho)

Mozris aka Jutti

Watch (I know we all check time in phones now but it looks good),I like classic Casio watches not a fan of smart watches.

Any family heirloom kinda jewellery (so I wear this tiny ring which my Nani gave to me that's the only thing I have which reminds me of her)

Kaali Bindi

Kaajal or Surma

A nice traditional handbag

Lots of books

A Smile

Also sometimes I wear flowers in my hair and apply heena on my hands

So yeah that's all, that's my style..😄❤️
