Hello there! This is the development blog for my indie dev project, Sunshine Getaway. Here is a rundown of the plot:
Sunshine Getaway is a psychological horror game set in the 90s in southern California. You play as Rien, a struggling ex-detective who begins to get ads for a “mental health resort” called the Sunshine Getaway. He decides to go there, hoping that it’ll put him back on his feet, but he soon finds that the place is hiding something truly terrible.

CURRENT PROJECT INFO
I (@darkkdeity) am currently developing the full first act of the game along with a small team of 8 other people in my Video Game Production class. Hopefully at the end of the fall semester (December) we will have a fully polished demo of Act 1 for you all to play! Here are the features you can expect in the Act 1 release:

Updated/new sprites
Drawn cutscenes
New characters
