Hi! I think two authors that deserve more recognition in the fandom are rippedgloves (rinharry in tumblr) and amandamoraisa (indierection on tumblr). Rippedgloves has a really mature style and very original story lines. It can get a little dark, but never in an unjustified way, if you know what I mean. My fav of her is Bigger Than Life. And amandamoraisa writes beautifully, it feels almost poetic. I love Box of Rain, definitely one of my fav fanfics in any fandom ever.

uan was early morning drives to school. it was annoyance at my car stereo, because it would always skip the tracks. it was showing my friends new music. it was the soundtrack to my way to dallas, to my first 1d concert. /// tmh was sleepless nights. it was procrastination from senior year. from my future. it rekindled my friendship with my cousin. it was 2012 winter. /// mm was new ground. it was out of my comfort zone. it was downloading on my ipod in the barracks after bootcamp. it was long hours studying for tests. it was new friends and the end of my obsession with 1d. /// four was forgotten. it was discovering it months after it came out. it was me finding a stress reliever. it was winter and snow. it was working a night schedule. it was sunlight and missing someone.

uan was driving to work in my first car and lip syncing shamelessly to morning commuters. it was, alongside with a cup of coffee, my pick me up when up till late writing my thesis to college and it was also learning to be happy because of course there’s life after graduation. 

tmh was running in the evenings, the furthest i’ve ever run, until i’ve got to my ideal bmi. it was getting on a plane to europe and waking up on the other side of the atlantic. it was queuing to watch them in the cold and in a flamingos jumper, smoking roll up cigarettes, having countless pints before the concert and singing myself voiceless. 

mm was having a break from tumblr because i couldn’t bear seeing louis fading before my eyes. it was illegally downloading it in a hostel in rome, bus trips to florence and witnessing the first snow fall in prague whilst walking to the airport at midnight. 

four was jamming to fireproof on my unmade bed. it was unemployment and awkwardly snogging a friend after proudly showing them the album. it was tweeting foreign radio stations and crying in the shower because show business is ugly and for everything it does to young talents. it was rainbow hope and staying as long as the four of them were too.
