THIS IS AMAZING! GREAT NEWS AND A HAPPY ONE AT THAT!!! Beautiful footage of how pristine the water is and wildlife is flourishing in the area. This is absolute proof Indigenous Peoples and Non Indigenous Peoples can indeed work together for the greater good of the planet and everything on it!
Please share this great, uplifting news.

on this 4th of July I’d like to remind you that the land we are on is stolen land and belongs to the indigenous tribes that were slaughtered, enslaved, and suppressed by colonizers. There’s no pride in this holiday
"everyone's so paranoid these days-"
Because everyone young these days is either aware of the world and knows Indigenous stewardship, leadership, and reclamation of all governing spaces within and outside their traditional lands to allow them to establish a natural sustainable trade flow between communities is the only way to sustain the planet in any liveable way- or they don't care and are actively ignoring it.
We're well aware of Indigenous peoples sustaining this land longer than time itself, yet continuously we watch colonial and colonial descending bodies allow blanket ignorance and lack of perception to cloud the progress of others. Too many people do nothing because they fear change and too many fight because they fear not being in a known realm.
Many colonial/societally colonial oriented people are the masses, the everyday folks who say 'but that's how X works' with a refusal of accepting even imagination of deviation regardless of outcomes.
Many folks pushing for change are aware, and humanely do not expect Indigenous peoples to have flawless, perfect, 110% always right systems - many people are trying to teach others to understand this so if you don't already, wake up, everyone is human; it's just been made so glaringly clear, besides inherent right of existence, that we need to stop seeing ourselves as people with 'permission to give.' we aren't 'allowing' or 'granting' or 'giving Indigenous people anything as non Indigenous people- we are literally working towards getting people to stop either actively or passively preventing them from doing so through our maintenance of colonial standards, mindsets, and baselines that never worked entirely for anyone to begin with and killed others from the start
