After spending the last few months studying the language of Japan, the journalist of the Moose Country Something had finally arrived in Beika Town. However this was only part of his tour; this was the result of his town getting together to give him a sort of birthday present, which in this case was a tour of Japan for two months. And this in turn made for many opportunities to write on several subjects to send back for his column.
But he wasn’t as alone as one would think. After storing his luggage in a hotel room, he had returned to his rented vehicle (which was going to take some practice to drive on the left side of the road) and was drawing out a large carrier that held two Siamese cats within it.
“Well you two, we’ve finally are about to get settled,” he said with a weary tone that suggested that it was a long ride on the plane. The smaller of the two cats, Yum Yum, just kept huddled in one corner of the carrier in disapproval of the whole ordeal. The male however was looking out of the front with avid interest. His name was Kao K’o-Kung, or more casually known as Koko.
“YOW!” he let out, loud enough for anyone near to turn their heads briefly.
“Keep it down, old fella.” Thankfully the hotel were giving him a top suite where his furry friends were not likely to bother anyone. Turning, he nearly ran into someone that wasn’t eye level, which meant it must be someone younger. “My apologies, sir,” Qwill already said as he shifted the carrier to the side to address the young boy, his Japanese still heavily accented from the influence of American. Hopefully it was passable.
