//Currently in the process of deciding on a anime faceclaim to use for Qwill. So far, two possibilities are presented, though unfortunately they’re more gray haired than I’d like, since Qwill is described with black-and-white peppered hair coloring due to stress (and a bit on age, of course). 

But the mustache... that’s the key thing too.

Shinichi crouched low to the ground and made little clicking noises, one hand out. “Here kitty kitty kitty.”

⚞𝕂⚟一Oh no, he’s been found. But it was that one kid that certainly had something about him that drew the being called Koko to him.

⚞𝕂⚟一”Yowl,” he let out softly as he stepped closer, pressing his muzzle against the offered hand. There were some benefits to being a cat, after all. But people are so strange with their need to make clicking sounds towards any cat.

“Not good,” Shinichi said as he worked on performing CPR, “If we keep this up, the EMTs might be able to make him stable to get to the ambulance… But it’s 50/50. I am not confident.”

The paramedics moved their way through the crowd and got to Shinichi and Qwill. They had the two step aside so they could begin treating, one looking up at the two. “Thanks, sir,” the woman said to Qwill, “Your actions may have saved this man’s life.”

⁅𝓠⁆一Without complaint as the EMTs gestured them to move aside, Qwill rose back to his feet while the paramedics resumed the work that he and Conan were leaving to them. “Not without some help.” The man glanced at the boy before looking back. “Others may be injured, but not as bad as this man.”

⁅𝓠⁆一”We’re already assessing the situation, sir,” a voice said, an officer who had come onto the scene on foot. “Don’t go anywhere just yet, we’ll need statements from every witness. But I commend on you two’s quick thinking.” The officer was already moving off, doing crowd control as he rounded everyone up to tell them the same thing.

⁅𝓠⁆一”That was quick thinking, Conan.” Qwill turned back to the boy more fully.

“Set him on the ground,” Shinichi ordered, “Gently. We’ll start applying first aid.”

The detective removed his jacked and began pressing it against the largest wound, hoping the pressure would help stop the bleeding. However he realized his size made him a less than great candidate.

“Qwill-san! Press down on my jacket while I check his vitals and start CPR.”

⁅𝓠⁆一’How much does this kid know?’ This thought passed through his mind even as he followed the order to apply pressure against the man’s wound through the jacket, remembering his previous experiences to staunch the bleeding the best he could. The wail of an ambulance could be heard in the distance, meaning that the paramedics was on the way, hopefully.

⁅𝓠⁆一”How’s he looking?” said the journalist as sweat began to bead against his forehead as he held the pressure, feeling the sun beating down on them while the crowd of people were standing in a half circle around the journalist and kid while the third laid unconscious. Another siren joined the previous on, this much closer with the pattern that Qwilleran immediately recognized as a police siren.
