When we live from our innermost truth at every moment, sometimes it can be hard to set boundaries with people for fear of hurting them, or wanting to make them happy. Sometimes we are afraid they will take it personally or be upset with us. Sometimes it's hard to even hear our own inner guidance when we are with other people, who have their own needs, ideas, beliefs, opinions and emotions. It's easy for those of us who are energetically sensitive to feel other's feelings as our own. What has helped me is to give myself a break before making decisions. Excuse yourself to go to the bathroom if you need to, but give yourself space to listen to your feelings. Our emotions are the guidance system used to help us tune into what is right or wrong for us at any given moment. If it feels wrong, it is. By giving into it, we are breaking our own boundary. Healthy boundaries allow us to live in fullness with ourselves. Breaking a boundary is like trying to fit ourselves into someone else's tiny box. People who truly love us listen to us and want us to be the entirety of who we are. They support what is right for us and encourage us to listen to our own inner truth and act from that, even if it changes minute to minute. Each person is responsible for their own feelings. If you say no to someone and they feel hurt or upset, that is for them to look at within their own life. That's their own journey, not yours. Take responsibility for your own life, your own happiness, your own path, because you are the only one who can ultimately know what is right for you. The same way you wouldn't want someone else to go against what is best for them, don't twist yourself like that for other people. Be whole. Be authentic. Be free. And you naturally will attract the right people into your life who love you exactly as you are at every moment.
