Indirect Fire at the National Army Museum

On Saturday 16 July, I had the an absolute pleasure of taking part in the Vickers Machine Gun Collection & Research Association’s Spotlight Saturday at the National Army Museum in London. The event highlighted the legacy of the Machine Gun Corps and the Vickers Gun. 

In my talk I outlined the doctrine of indirect fire support developed by the British Army which was used again during the Second World War and the Korean War. I thoroughly enjoyed giving the talk and answering some of the very good questions asked afterwards.
