I had an unusually productive day at work today. I guess it was because our first activity was quite stimulating. We reviewed our division presentation of some important project. We shared our insights on the presentation and I more than enthusiastically participated.
On some days (which becoming a normal thing lately) , I wouldn’t even have anything substantive to do. When work finally comes, I am usually too lazy to do it.
I still had a break longer than normal but I quickly finished tasks that I would normally put off for days – after office hours. This leads me to another realization. Contrary to what I say in interviews, I guess I’m more of an individual worker than team player. I usually can’t produce a lot when other people are around. It is also unethical to isolate, hy say, wearing earphones. But maybe I’d do that. When there is work, though. 🤔
