the initial hunt for an elder scroll makes both sorcha and indmira immensely uncomfortable. sorcha, for having to go to the college (which reminds her of varun - and savos? even more so! how many times did she listen to varun give her dry lectures on magical theory? she appreciated none of it, but now she wishes she’d listened more. was less impatient. made time for his knowledge so that she’d known enough to help him) - and indmira because septimus signus is talking about the dwemer and it makes her very upset that she mostly understands what he’s saying, and deeply upset that he’s talking about blackreach.
