Bumbu Indomie Goreng diciptakan oleh Nunuk Nuraini, seorang insinyur teknologi pangan yang bekerja di Indofood sejak tahun 1982, dan rasa ini diluncurkan pada tahun 1982. Bumbu tersebut adalah varian pertama Indomie yang tidak berkuah, yang dirancang berdasarkan cita rasa khas mi goreng tradisional Indonesia, dengan perpaduan gurih, manis, dan sedikit pedas.

Indomie Goreng seasoning was created by Nunuk Nuraini, a food technology engineer who has worked at Indofood since 1982, and this flavour was launched in 1982. The seasoning was the first non-soupy variant of Indomie, designed based on the distinctive taste of traditional Indonesian fried noodles, with a combination of savoury, sweet and slightly spicy flavours.
