          SWEAT ON HIS FEATURES WERE SINGED OFF OF his face as the stray ki blast whizzed by his hair, fire one directly back at a faceless scouter-faced goon, before his head ducked underneath a ki blade from a different grunt, to which the saiyan answered it with a hard kick to the ribs- feeling satisfied in the feeling of it cracking underneath his boot to pay attention to grunt number three attempting to reach for his tail- the appendage giving him a hard smack to send him sailing into the ground. only then did he face his fellow saiyan going through his own issues, sending a ki blast his way to knock off a freeza force grunt that had been coming up from behind him.

           ❝  COULD I GET'A REMINDER ON WHAT EXACTLY the plan even is ?! jaco had said freeza was gonna be on this planet ! but alls that's left is a whole army of his goons ! ❞ truthfully goku knew the answer as to why that was- he had known they were coming, and the emperor wasn't quite ready to give an audience to the two saiyans yet despite their chasing after him across the galaxy for the past few months. just another planet to clear off unfortunately.

“Hey Vegeta,” Raditz greeted with a bag full of bacon wrapped hot dogs. “Found something you might like.” He tossed one of the  aluminum wrapped dogs towards Vegeta expecting him to catch it and open up the surprise.

His relationship with his mom is actually pretty good! Despite both of them being rather stubborn and Trunks' desire to directly help people contrasting with Bulma's desire to stay safe and focus on helping people indirectly.

Trunks is a bit of a mama's boy, he listens to her on most things, thinks very highly of her, and he generally just enjoys doing things with her, like fixing machines or working on projects together. Though the last one might be due to a lack of being able to spend time casually with her.

But tldr; he thinks she's the best

“So what do you think of the outfit Vegeta? Very cool right?” He was really digging this getup, that Bulma made for him. Beating up bad guys just like in the comic books, truly he was living the dream. Even Vegeta had to definitely admit it was a work of art.

“Villains will definitely quake in fear at the sight of... SAIYAMAN!” He’d punctuate that with the best pose possible.

There was a moment, however brief, where Jiren almost changed his mind.  It was not yet too late to walk away from this conversation, to leave this offer unspoken and continue his solitary existence-- even if it was somehow now on a new planet in a different universe.  But he knew how difficult it would be to start over in a place he knew nothing about, and as much as he hated to admit it, this really was in his best interest....

“A mutually beneficial agreement.  Provide me a place to stay.  In return, I will become your sparring partner.”  A pause. “I believe those terms are fair.”
