001.   while gwen can speak candidly with tony, she has a difficult time making conversation with howard. it’s not because she doesn’t like him, or she finds him hard to talk to, but simply because she’s admired his work for so long that it’s always a surreal experience. guaranteed each conversation she’ll hold will have at least ten fillers and a bout of stuttering.002.   despite the fact that they don’t necessarily talk a lot, gwen’s made it her job to memorize his coffee order and bring one to him any time she’s near his office.003.   she has never, and most likely, will never call howard anything but mr. stark— even though he’s told her it’s really all right that she does. it’s just a habit she can’t kick.004.   at a stark industries events, she and howard took a photo. members of the avengers and pepper are in it, too, but she considers it something of a trophy, and mainly because of howard (and doctor banner’s) presence. she has two copies of it, one is which is pinned up on her bulletin board at home — right above her desk — and the other is tucked in the top drawer of her desk. she thinks howard’s never seen it, but he did once when he borrowed (read: stole) one of gwen’s fancy japanese pens.
