this kind manners was always something frank had in him because he believed in being a gentleman and his parents. she didn’t look like the kind of person who would cause chaos or have bad intentions in general. ‘ not a lot people know proper hospitality. ‘ he knew that because he has lived here all his life. ‘ i’m fine. you look like someone i use to know. ‘

     So this was woman who had done the impossible —– captured Howard Stark’s heart. And such a beauty she was. Wearing a smile, Peggy offered her hand in greeting. “ The pleasure’s all mine, Miss Carbonell. You can just call me Peggy. ”

the woman is kind, just as howard had assured her peggy would be, and maria can’t help but to smile after she takes the other woman’s hand in her own.   ❛ well, if i can call you peggy, you may call me maria. ❜   a nervous chuckle falls from the italian’s lips, hand releasing peggy’s.   ❛ howard said that he made a reservation for us to eat somewhere? ❜

she’s only just hoisted a batch of cookies into the oven when a knock is heard at the door. maria has admittedly been paranoid these last few days, for s.h.i.e.l.d. has failed to send anyone to check on her ( as they normally do ), and they also haven’t tried to contact her in any other way. all of the fears pent up inside only AUGMENT when the knock is heard, and then another, maria nervously steps away from the oven and towards the front door. steps are smaller the closer she gets, but upon opening the door up, blue eyes open widely.
