Camp Decorations Part 1
I am a huge fan of games that allow you to customize your surroundings, like Skyrim and Oblivion. Imagine my utter glee when I discovered that you can decorate your camp with items you find (and swipe lol) in Baldur’s Gate 3. This is the aftermath.
I turned the ruins in camp into a magical research center.

Background: Indyra was once training to be a priestess of the Spider Queen Lloth. Her family was rising in prominence in Menzoberranzen, which many other rival families saw as a threat. She had an older brother, Uthuron, who was a soldier in the Spider Queen’s army. At one point, before she was to take her vows, Uthuron was sent out on a mission that was rigged to fail. This was to put shame upon her family. Uthuron was the sole survivor of this catastrophic mission, and as a result he was cursed by Lloth and transformed into a drider. Indyra’s family was assassinated by the rival families, and she was kidnapped and taken into the caves to be fed to her own brother.
Instead of draining her blood, as was anticipated, Uthuron tore off one of the mandibles from the front of his spider body and tossed it to Indyra in order to fight off her kidnappers. The two of them slew the whole group. Since they had now committed a direct offence to Lloth herself, they had no choice but to flee the Underdark and make for the surface.
The first ten years were the most brutal. Their eyes needed to grow accustomed to the light, and they had to avoid monster hunters seeking to destroy Uthuron. But they stayed together through it all, and after their adjustment period, they made their fortune in smuggling rare and precious artifacts and reagents to the highest bidder. Their most reoccurring employer is Imalia Gabriev, a powerful sorceress from a far off land called Vesuvia.
Then one day, while preparing to head to Vesuvia from Waterdeep, Indyra was taken by Mind Flayers...
