hey. i'm so sorry you're feeling so horrible about yourself and your art and writing. this stuff can get people down so easily. try to focus on doing it for yourself, though. have fun. don't let art and writing become something that makes you sad and mad. if you enjoy what you make, others will enjoy it, too. i just took a look at your art and it is AMAZING. keep it up because, believe it or not, people enjoy it :) feel free to message me anytime, okay? <3

I generally try to do it for me, but at the end of the day it gets to the fact that there’s no point in doing anything if you can’t share it with others. I mean - I already have all these stories, these pictures, hell, I have them much better than they come out; going through the trouble of making them physical doesn’t benefit me as an act on its own. To make it worse, I’m locked in a void where I have no confirmation whatsoever for my worth as an individual outside what I create, and while I do love creating, being able to partake in the community with that is fundamental to my wellbeing. It’s often the only source of positive feedback in my life. When I get none, I feel like I failed and nothing negates that, and I push myself too hard to be better and better and better and the more I do the more, of course, it falls short of what I expect - which eventually results in a crashdown like this where I just hate everything I ever made because it can never be good enough for the standard I hold it to, which is inhumanely high for everyone involved.
