People who know me...
Know I plan things in advance, work is one of those things where I know my shifts for the following week the wed/thursday before the following work week. This means I plan my things around the work schedule. AKA cleaning days, laundry, going out to run errands (things I wouldn't normally have time for when I'm working that day, yea the night shift really does suck sometimes). I hate getting called in hours before a shift when I don't mentally program it in my mind that I'm working that day. I just feel unmotivated to be there and unhappy to be called in short notice. There's something about being mentally prepared to work in the food industry. Soo...sorry co-worker, I am not coming to work for you in the next four hours. Need at least a day or two notice. I like having Sunday/Monday's off consecutively and I prepared for these days off last week...not gonna throw away my only few days of relaxation and solitude to make five more hours pay.
Not worth it.
