"Don't have kids. They're horrible."
-said to me today by someone who's been having accidental babies since high school. She's one of only a handful of people here who know that I'm infertile.
So that was awkward.

When you have to come to terms that you won’t be a mother really sucks.
When you come to terms that you shouldn’t be a mother is even worse.
I love kids and kids love me but I’ll never have any of my own.
No one understands where I’m coming from fully because well they have kids!! And that changes a lot!!!
A lot of the people I know have kids and they have their own lingo or understanding and that’s fine and good but at the same time the ones who don’t have kids sit on the way side cuz we “don’t understand what it’s like to have kids” !!
So I just get to grieve my baby that I never got to meet, grieve the title I should never have and grieve the end or at most shift in friendships.
This is a terrible feeling and I have no one to express it to.
So that’s cool…..

For the last few days I’ve been cramping really bad and I’ve been having other weird things happen that happened when I first found out I was pregnant with my angel baby!! It all lined up to where it was actually possible that I could be pregnant!!
But again any signs/symptoms were in my head :(!!!
I really was hoping we did it on our own based on how I was feeling but no infertility wins yet again :(!
Millets & Infertility
A life or death scenario: not one of unending discovery. If I do everything correctly, according to method, I’ll suffer less A decidual cast will slip out clean and bloodless a facsimile of my womb.
Meanwhile, the city, edgy with 24-hour millet traders. Foxtail, farmhouse, little: pet named like a ragged princess’ helpmeets in the staple revolution.
Sometimes infertility clinics fronted by strip-club neon Instead of simulated sets of boobs, a milk-green baby sizzles on and off though the deluge.
When they tell me you are an incredible -- : an amazing -- : a wonderful -- : every generalized adjective hammers a nail in my casket of romance. The anonymous dog who loves me sniffs me out with regularity to sit at my gate, one quizzical ear askew. Affection is sometimes just an outside voice.
Mainly ambivalent but not carefree I slice through an old onion muddily putrid at the core not just with powdery black rot that washes easily away. I didn’t mean to waste it Could say with some perspicacity: real men died for this.
Do I deserve emeralds for being this tough for thinking for everyone else, overseeing my own care? These exhausted rooms carry the smell of my old Dhaka building after Eid, when the lift was used to transport fresh buckets of sacrifice, upstairs and down.
In our society, infertility is a serious issue. When speaking about infertility, most people consider it a woman’s issue. However, this is not true always. According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, a man can be also the primary cause of infertility among couples.
