Allow me to be super for real with you right now: for a time I was bummed out that I thought the little interactions we had would be over once I stopped watching WWE, but then you got into KCD too and... listen, I'm so glad. So grateful. I fuck heavyyy with your vibe AND YOUR ART TOO MAY I SAY and consider you one of my besties now! <3
UGHHH right lmao (i haven't watched wwe in like three weeks tbh). I love kcd so much though I was hyped when I saw you posting about it I just didn't interact with it much bc I was still on kcd1 💀 I still haven't finished kcd2 I'm taking my sweet time 😭 game of all time honestly 💜💜
I already have more kcd art in the works. It's my new infestation of brain worms I think.
r/SquareCircle made a post about Rhea's "once a bottom, always a bottom" story and I saw this comment and went "huh" and I wanted to share with you!
That would make the storyline even more painful to watch (we don't need even more toxic masculinity in a story that's already brimming with it and its crowd), but I thought that was a unique view of what's going on with Dom lol but now I'm really here hoping that his Mami shirt from this week wasn't a mistake and in fact, another type of breadcrumb for what's to come :') like, we haven't seen the outcome of Finn taking Liv's hotel keycard and being alone with her at their clubhouse yet, so... I'm getting pretty delulu with this, I know, but at least other people in that post also mentioned Rhea's merch, so I'd like to believe we'll get something good in the future
For sure Dom has fallen victim to toxic masculinity on the toxic masculinity show. The problem is those who relate to that think it's the best story going. They don't care about his character progression or how it was tossed, only that he is now the Big Man who has a hot chick who makes him tendies and let's him play video games. It's absurd.
Him wearing the Mami pants is a mystery to me. I don't know how something like that would get overlooked? And he purposefully took off liv's merch that was around his waist. Like, he had to have been aware he had Mami on his ass? Also he recently had some that said sucio on the ass and has some that have nothing. There's been a lot of little hints and clues but the problem is they could be coincidences. 😭
Like a big one is video games. In the clubhouse it was always Finn, JD, and Carlito playing games. The only time I remember Dom playing a game is when he was alone with Liv before the tag match. Could be a coincidence or not. I have no clue at this point.
No fucking way. No FUCKING way. I can't believe this. Lafiametta... what the fuck... I can't believe this
Yeah, it's just undeniably shitty.
First and foremost, why would you greenlight a project that is clearly intended to be multi-season and then cancel it less than a month and a half after it aired? So ridiculously short-sighted.
And unless Bo and Jantje decide to spill the beans, we'll never know how it's all supposed to end, a mystery forever left unsolved. (And we'll never get to see Ling Yi and Olek together on the spaceship, which is just so tragic.)
There might be hope it could get picked up by someone else, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Fic is the only thing left to console me now, I suppose, although it doesn't feel like nearly enough.
Once on my way to work I saw a bird and imagined what they would look like if they had proportional to their sizes human noses, and that it would be something that would come from you. I don't know if you take suggestions but I had to tell you this.
youre waiting at a bus stop when this lands on your shoulder and sharply inhales, just once. unnerved, you turn to the person next to you and see they havent even noticed; in fact, nobody around you seems to be paying attention. you casually inquire when the bus is arriving, and they dont so much as glance at the bird the whole time they answer. you realize nobody else can see it but you. it inhales again
I'm sorry but Twitter is making me lose my mind, as is tradition, and I gotta have a piece of your mind on this: do you think Dominik is playing Rhea? Everybody thinks he was acting by how he was so boisterous about how he rejected Liv, and they're sure he'll turn on Rhea and betray her on SS :( but then there's Finn, who's so obviously stirring shit between them that everybody was getting weirded out by him as well. So, do you think our lovely couple is truly safe? Because, not to be dramatic, but I think I'll never get over their breakup. :(((((
So there's a lot of things happening. I think there are multiple people lying here, if not everyone. Damian knows something we don't. Why was he sooo giddy about Dom getting in trouble? Why was Rhea only acting mad at Dom in front Finn, JD, and Carlito? Why did she flip so quickly and say Dom was hers?
She could be using Dom. Damian and Rhea could be planning behind everyone's backs. Maybe they know Finn is being a snake. Maybe they wanted to test Dom's loyalty to see if they could trust him. Then have him lead on Finn and Liv and ultimately betray them. (Leading on FInn and Liv doesn't make much sense now, unless Liv knew he was going to cuss her out.)
Finn has been caught with Liv. Things keep happening to Dom where it's obvious someone is setting him up (the hotel keycard, his vest, just tonight Finn purposely sending him in Liv's direction). It's likely Finn trying to get Rhea and Damian to turn on Dom. It seems like Finn is trying to manipulate Dom as well.
Dom has consistently told Liv no. He has told her over and over again to leave him alone. It clearly stressed him out when the others don't believe him and tell him he isn't doing anything. If he wanted to side with Liv, they've been alone multiple times. Going with Liv gains him nothing. He's with TJD because he wanted out of his father's shadow and wanted a family. It wouldn't make sense for him to betray them.
On the other side, Dom on social media retweets Liv, posts sus songs with Liv, etc. There really isn't much "evidence" other than that. Also, Dom not contacting Rhea for 3 months is REALLY suspicious. That's the thing that doesn't make ANY sense to me. Was it a lie? It was said in front of FInn and JD... was that on purpose?
So anyway, I think it could be four things.
One, the most obvious thing in the world where Dom betrays Rhea and goes with Liv. To me it doesn't make sense long term. Or short term. Or at all, really. It's just the most obvious way for things to go.
Two, it's a whole plan between Rhea, Damian, and now Dom to lead on Liv and Finn and ultimately have Dom side with Rhea. He might even cost Rhea the match at summerslam... but on accident.. on purpose? If that makes sense. Then eventually betrays Liv and goes back to Rhea. (This is the most drama filled fun option IMO.)
Three, it's just as we see it and Liv is delusional Dom doesn't want anything to do with her but is very stupid and easily manipulated and will probably cost Rhea the match making Rhea upset and angry and she'll drop him.
Four, it's just as we see it and Dom is loyal. It's Finn that turns on the group and helps Liv. Dom picks Rhea's side because he's a good boy and picked sides tonight and it was all 100% genuine.
Idk truly but I also will not survive their break up.
Misha. Lord have mercy, Misha...
I'VE HAD IT! IF TIFFANY STRATTON 🩷🩰💄 AND DOMINIK MYSTERIO 🐀🪱🦠 BECOME ENTANGLED! IF I HAVE TO SIT THERE AND WATCH THEM BE HIHIHI AND ALL OVER!!! HOOO BOY. LET ME TELL YOU THIS!!!
You will see me on the news.
LMAO i literally have no idea if this is a good thing or a bad thing
I don't know how many prompts you received so far, and I hope this one won't make you even more busy, but I just had the best ideas! So, you can choose:
Touching #42. Braiding the other's hair (Olek's completely in love with Ling Yi's hair!)
Touching #23. Carrying the other one in their arms + Kissing #58. "Forever mine" kiss (coming home after their wedding??? can u imagine!!! 😭🩷)
ORRR
Kissing #48. Kisses to shut them up (you know. you know! 👀)
I decided to go with the first option (“braiding the other's hair”), but I'm going to reserve my right to do the other two at a later date! Set in the 1899 New York AU, one of my favorite spots to visit... :)
He comes home after work to find Ling Yi in the middle of the kitchen, seated on a stool and leaning over a tin bucket. Water drips from the ends of her wet hair as she wrings it out.
Her face turns to glance at him, a bright smile forming on her lips. “Olek!” she says, with some additional words of greeting, and then returns to her task, hands squeezing along the rope of her dark hair.
She likes to wash her hair frequently, carrying the bucket down the hall to the spigot and hauling it back to their apartment nearly filled to the brim. Some days, she'll wash his hair too, and Olek will find himself being pushed onto the stool and dowsed before she lathers up the soap and threads her fingers through the wet strands. She can't do much about the rest of him—but that's something he can see to himself, either with a daily wash at the basin or a trip to the public baths a few blocks away for a five-cent soak.
Sometimes it feels like an unending labor, keeping the dirt and grime off their bodies and their clothes and everything they own. Despite their best efforts, nothing ever seems to stay clean for very long.
Perhaps the only exception is her hair.
Back home, Olek had never really been one to notice girls' hair. It came in different colors, of course, shades of blond and brown and everything in between, sometimes frizzy or straight, or tucked modestly under a kerchief. But nothing about it made it seem all that interesting, much less like an object of allure.
When he first met Ling Yi, it was all he could look at, the way it covered her like a veil, and when he sank his fingers into it, it felt like strands of fine silk. The color was so dark, ink-black against her pale skin, but in the light it gleamed with auburn and honeyed gold. After those first few days on the Kerberos, when she had let it fall loosely down her back, she took to braiding it—nothing so ornate or complicated as the other women had, but a simple plait hanging between her shoulder blades. Each morning before she leaves for work, she braids it the same way. Then at night, before bed, she'll undo it, combing her fingers through the strands, leaving a dark spray across her back. In the darkness of their bed, it trails across the pillowcase and falls against his skin, light and tantalizing, and he'll reach for it, gathering fistfuls into his hands.
Olek loves her hair in a way he can't fully explain. It's so much a part of her, something he can't imagine her without, even as it's left unbound for no one else but him.
The rinsing complete, she grabs a small cloth and begins to dry her hair, rubbing vigorously along her scalp and then down the lengths. While he's hanging up his hat and coat, Olek half-watches as the damp strands grow into further disarray. Having done its duty, the cloth is finally discarded on the table, replaced by a delicate tortoiseshell comb with a silver handle. It was one of the few items Ling Yi brought with her from the Kerberos, and he suspects it's one of the most valuable things they own. She has never mentioned why she kept it and he has never asked; perhaps one day, though, she will tell him the story.
The comb gently moves from the crown of her head down to the ends of her hair, and then back up again, straightening and smoothing, the tines of the comb leaving tiny parallel lines in the sleek surface. She does this a dozen times, maybe more, until it lays flat and straight over her shoulders.
Reaching back, she begins to separate it into sections, as if she's going to put it back into a braid. He's seen her do this so many times that he recognizes the dexterous movements of her fingers, the precise way they grasp and turn, as if without thinking.
“Zaczekaj,” Olek says, the idea appearing in his mind so quickly that he doesn't have time to conjure up the word in English. He walks just behind her, placing his hands over hers, callused fingers slipping around the sections of her hair. “Let me,” he asks, a touch haltingly.
He isn't sure why he's asked this of her—it seems strange for a man to be doing this for a woman. Certainly Olek never saw his father braid his mother's hair, nor anyone else's for that matter. Besides, it's not as if she isn't fully capable of doing it herself. Only it's something he wants to do for her, this tiny thing, and as he's standing in the middle of their kitchen, he senses that perhaps it isn't so tiny, that it means something more in a quiet corner of his heart.
Ling Yi turns back to look at him, her eyes cautious even as a small smile begins to play along her lips. There's a nod and she pulls her hands away, ceding the task to him.
He struggles at first, his hands feeling too big, too clumsy. He has none of her sureness or her speed. Even though they're still damp, pieces fall from his grasp, and when he picks them back up, they lie unevenly, bumps protruding from the central plait. He's almost ready to give up by the time he reaches the end, and then she hands him a small ribbon, which he's able to tie on with only a little more difficulty.
She pulls the braid over her shoulder, eyeing the end result. Olek's certain she has to be disappointed—how could she not be when he's made such a mess of it? She will probably just pull it out and start again, this time without his poor attempt at assistance.
Instead, she stands, reaching up to take his face into her hands. She looks inordinately pleased—with what, he has no idea—but he's not about to question it, especially not after she arches up and presses her lips to his. He can smell the damp in her hair, the sweet floral scent of the soap she used to wash it, and for a moment he's lost in it, lost in her.
Ling Yi pulls back, her eyes glinting with a hint of mischief. And then suddenly her hands are on his shoulders and she's pushing him down onto the stool, leaning down close enough that she can whisper playfully into his ear.
“You now...”
[send me an Olek x Ling Yi kissing or touching prompt]
Does Ling Yi like Olek with a beard and moustache combo, or clean-shaved? And because I liked how you described her as petulant, is she the type of gal to cross her arms, pout, and say playfully "I won't kiss you until you shave/until it grows back again" just to mess with him? And what about his hair? Long or undercut? We all know she loves him no matter what, but you know what I mean! This is so important!!! Maciej looks so good with a beard, and in the final episode, he had a little moustache and that look on him is making me act silly!
Ling Yi prefers Olek clean-shaven: she thinks he looks sweeter that way, plus facial hair makes him seem older. He's only nineteen, so why wouldn't he want to look his age? (Also, when he grows out the scruff — on those occasions he wasn't able to get around to shaving — it feels very scratchy when it rubs against her skin. Does she playfully refuse to kiss him — or to do anything else, for that matter — until he agrees to shave? Quite possibly!)
I think we can all agree that the bowl haircut is not a great look for him, but is very typical of men from that era (particularly those of Olek's social class). Ling Yi would definitely encourage him to grow it out a little along the sides and the back — nothing too long, but just enough for her to have something to hold onto... ;)
