To be fair, Zero's only two friends are Gadget and Barry. And they're VERY normal compared to the people that Barry brings around (Sonic, Espio, Stone, Zero himself, etc). So yeah, actually he IS one to talk.

... Barry really DOES need normal friends though.

This was originally for the sonic fankid zine, but the mods have completely ghosted the project, so I'm posting it now since I'm not letting my effort go to waste

Does Zero know how to bake treats or bread for the coffee shop? And how would baking with Barry and Gadget be like?

He didn't initially. He stole a recipe book to try and learn and to impress Barry, and then got really good at it to the point where he surpasses Barry. He can't outcook them, though.

As for baking together, that's more a Zero and Barry activity. Gadget will sit and keep them company, and occasionally sample the goods, but baking certainly isn't his strong suit. He would have to fix the oven HE blew up if he tried to help them.
