So you know how Infinite those infamous long bois in that one level? Well, I thought of how it was a missed opportunity to have a series of Infinite made enemy types. So drew some, I dub them Infiknights. And I have an idea of each one's attack pattern and how they affect Sonic. Although I have only thought of ideas for them in a 2D sense, not many ideas for how a few would be handled in 3D/boost mode.
The dog-like one would bite whoever right in front of them, so running right into them is a bad idea. But that hand tail is also trouble as it can fling Sonic back. But if you get close it would try to smack Sonic with its tail. Jump over it during this and hit it from behind.
The wheel enemies were inspired by those lion heads with legs from Bloodstained. These enemies would travel on platform surfaces like wheels slowly, but can suddenly go fast and sometimes always fast speed all the time so you need to time your jumps carefully while avoiding them.
The one with the big mouth appears out of portals to take a big bite. They can appear from the ground or walls. Thought of how they could appear in 3d sections with the popping out of the ground to be obstacles in the way.
The bird looking one was based on a hummingbird. Essentially it flies around fast before swooping down at Sonic. While it's swooping you must jump over it quickly and hit it from behind to get rid of it. Had thought of an idea during a boost section where they come out flying through portals like a bunch of darts.
And finally, the dragon one is more of a mini-boss/obstacle. Where it would chase Sonic from behind at one point and shoot fireballs and waves of fire he must dodge until it flies over him. It would then appear at the end of the level where Sonic is given the chance to fight back
The only one I didn't get to draw that I thought of was an idea for a cannon based one that fire a large beam of energy. It would be more of an obstacle than an enemy though. Think of them being like those giant lasers from the Egg Fleet in Sonic Heroes.
