    “I have no idea how to even start...”  Raven admitted, following her beloved Summer’s gaze down to the babe in her arms.  12 hours old and Raven’s afraid to even move while she’s holding the child.  To the point she laid down and asked the nurse to bring Yang to her.  “This child is the most innocent thing I have ever seen.  She doesn’t know just how stained my hands are.  I don’t remember a time I was as pure as this.”

    Raven doubted it needed saying that the tribe’s way of raising kids was great. They were taken care of at some point, then it was fight for the right to get to the best food.  The kingdom children may be softer than tribal, but that’s a good thing.  Well, most of the ideally have a shelter that’s not moving around every week, little to no threat of Grimm.  They certainly don’t have to have steel being flung at them except while training.

   “Thankfully you have always been here to tell me Raven no as a moral guide, right love?”

A cold stare was given to Kali, bloodied hand still dropping the crimson of the person that dared oppose her. It wasn’t as if she cared what people thought anymore; she was a Grimm, now, and her gaze proved such. But words about the White Fang made her blood boil.

“Then where was the White Fang when Taurus cut me open? When I was usurped from my position from that back-stabbing son of a bitch!? They were on his side.

He made a mockery of the White Fang. Not me. I fought for equality, but all that bastard wants is power. His insatiable ego was the source of his backstabbing. Everyone knows that Taurus is their leader now, and everyone thought me dead.

I am here for revenge, Belladonna. Against everyone that stood against me. I suggest you don’t put yourself in that path.”

“Did I ever really have a choice in the matter? Did this child you possess have any choice?” Because that’s how it was with him, wasn’t it? An illusion of choice. The option to pick, but there always being the correct answer to choose when it came to him.

“And I have a right to be upset. I am human. Something you ceased to be long ago, or are you simply choosing to forget your humanity?”

While she would not act against humanity’s best interest, she was also not particularly fond of being put into a position where she was merely a tool for Ozpin to use--and sacrifice--as he saw fit.

Jaune had, somehow, managed to trip over the door jam on his way to meet his new ‘wife’. He chalked it up to nerves. When he’d offered his help with Weiss’s dad, this wasn’t what he’d been expecting. Still, he’d given his word, and he wouldn’t go back on it.

And would it really be so bad?

Jaune smiled tentatively at Weiss’s greeting. The words weren’t as warm as they could have been, but it was Weiss. She was still getting warmth down. 

“It’s could do with a little spring cleaning.” He joked feebly. He’d never felt more ungainly or awkward in his life, but he’d do the best he could for her sake. At least until she had her rightful place back, he’d be her partner in life, and the blonde took such things very seriously. 

He paused, trying to think of how he should address her. They were married after all. In the end, he decided to just do so like he would have done before everything started. He doubted she saw this as more than a formality in any case. “How's everything on the home front?”

“It is a pleasure to have a Schnee on board.” The colonel said as he sat, looking over at his scroll. “I hope that none of the officers or soldiers gave you any trouble on the way here?”

The colonel had a golden nameplate on the desk in between himself and the specialist. “Colonel Crimson” was etched in as he was checking her paperwork and Ironwood’s as well.

“Welcome aboard the Constantine, the one of the few airships with Atlesian faunus running around and a rare faunus colonel.” He said smiling as his tiger ears were poking out from his black hair.
