My first ever concert experience.
With my main group,
INFINITE.

4 years have passed but I can still remember everything that had happened that night.
7 boys serenading every Inspirits inside the arena, trying their best in speaking Tagalog for their individual ments, throwing signed paper planes, and many more.
That night was indeed, a dream turned into reality.
The journey in bringing Infinite back to Manila was very hard. There were surveys going around since their world tour was announced in hopes of Manila, being included in the tour. Luckily, our efforts paid off! The organizers and producers heard us, and we were included in the tour.
This time, for my first concert, I bought the VIP ticket which comes with a raffle entry for a signed album or soundcheck pass. Then days before the concert, they posted the list of winners and I am so happy to see my name in the list. Together with me are my 2 friends, Marianne and Ate Giel. And I guess we all used up our luck in winning the raffle for the soundcheck pass. Hahaha!
Concert Day
Since it was my first time attending a concert, I was very nervous but excited at the same time. Also, if you don’t know, I am an introvert. Haha! So, I was also nervous in meeting up with my mutuals from Twitter. But I can say, it was fun! It was fun meeting them for the first time, talking to them in person, spazzing over our biases, etc.
Soundcheck
For those of us who won a soundcheck pass, we were asked to line outside the venue earlier. While waiting on the line, me, Marianne and Ate Giel were so nervous because we will be seeing Infinite up close and listen to them rehearse before the actual concert.
Imagine, seeing Infinite up close for the first time, rehearsing songs with no make-up at all?
When they started entering one by one, everyone was already screaming. They sang about 2-3 songs, I think? They were waving, throwing hearts (*coughs Woohyun), smiling, everything! They all look so adorable up-close!
Howon, was wearing shades throughout the soundcheck.
Dongwoo, came out drinking chocolate milk. Haha!
Sunggyu’s little eyes were much cuter up-close.
Sungyeol were looking for banners with his name on it. Haha! Cute!
Myungsoo in all-black clothes of course.
Sungjong was waving to everyone.
And of course,
Blonde Woohyun who sat in front of the Inspirits on the left side (but I’m staying in the middle :( why Woohyun, why)
After their last song, when they were saying goodbye, I remember raising my Woohyun banner and fan up high and he noticed it then pointed at it and,
WINKED.
AT.
ME.
I. JUST. DIED.
Concert Proper
The moment we saw these silhouettes, we still can’t believe that we are going to see them perform live, not just through the screens of our phone, but LIVE.
YES.
LIVE.
Inside the arena before the concert started, I noticed that there were lots of fansites seated near us. And guess what? I am seating in the same row as Honeytree (Woohyun’s Main Fansite). Well our ticket is actually VIP Seated, that’s why we have seats in our area and our seats are not facing the main stage but facing the walkway? path? towards the extended stage. But yeah, Honeytree is like, 2 people away from me. Imagine?
The concert itself was unforgettable. They sang all of their hit songs and their latest songs from their latest album at that time entitled, REALITY.
Woohyun even sang his solo – Everyday. I cannot forget that moment because he was shining on stage, aside from the fact that he was blonde when he went to Manila, but yeah. He was shining on stage as he hit those high notes.
It was beautiful.
INFINITE H ㅡ Hoya and Dongwoo during their special stage.
This was taken during Sunggyu’s solo stage. This was the only pic I got during his stage because I was enjoying his performance.
During one of their songs, I remember they were staying in the extended stage and before the song ended, they were making their way back to the main stage. As they were walking back, I saw someone threw a green neck pillow and it landed safe. It landed on the stage and DONGWOO SAW IT AND GOT IT. OMG.
After seeing that, I have decided that it is the right time to throw mine as well. Before the concert, me and my cousin, Ate Anne, went inside the mall and bought a pillow. I bought a red heart pillow and was planning on giving it to Woohyun. I even wrote “Nam Woohyun, Saranghae” on the pillow. So, I threw my pillow on stage after I saw the green neck pillow landed safely on stage BUT GUESS WHAT HAPPENED NEXT.
I threw it but it went off the stage 😊 It went on the other side of VIP Seated. I failed.
I even had the time to tweet to the person I saw on the other side and told him if he could give it to Woohyun (meaning, throw it back on stage) but he was not online at the time, I guess. Well, it’s sad. My heart plushie weren’t able to reach Woohyun. Maybe next time! I’ll practice throwing so that I won’t fail again. Haha!
INFINITE F ㅡ Sungjong, Myungsoo & Sungyeol’s performance.
Howon, at that time, was injured and was seated in some songs. During one of their ments, I just realized that he was standing in front of us, in our area. So, I shouted ‘Hoya!’ and
HE LOOKED AT ME AND SMILED. AND. WAVED. BACK. AT. ME. OMG.
It was an unforgettable interaction with Hoya! After that, I told my friends that Hoya is not occupied at that time so he might notice you so try calling his name. They did, and he responded again. Thank you, Hoya!
After their last song, flower confetti fell from above. Then they went forward on to the extended stage, and bowed to different sides of the arena, then back on the main stage where they made their last long bow.
It was indeed, a night to remember.
A special night which I will cherish forever.
To INFINITE, thank you for always being there. I am thankful that I was able to see you complete during Infinite Effect in Manila. I never thought that this would be the last time I will see you all, seven, on stage, together. But I will always be here, supporting each seven of you if ever the time comes when you all head to different paths. I also hope you will still keep supporting each other as well.
