Today I’m experimenting with 4-track tape loops and effects. Now that I’m on the other side of my summer music workshops I’m going to spend the next few months restocking my Etsy store, mixing a couple of new albums due out this October and start working on some brand new material with my awesome new synths/effects. Here are a few pics from the table I set up in my studio this morning. I’ve got a 4-track, two Volcas and a KO Pocket Operator running into a mixer which in turn is running through a complex chain of effects (@meris.us #merisenzo -> @hologram_electronics #infinitejets -> @chaseblissaudio #chaseblissmood -> @earthquakerdev -> #avalancherun -> @bossfx_us -> #rc30). Of course I’ll end up using some #Springzingers and other sound making devices but I want to see how far I can stretch these effects in this configuration.
