Yayoi Kusama, Infinity mirror room, 2002
'Brilliance of the souls', 2014, from Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Rooms series 💜
Avant-garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. I was fortunate to see her Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C. & her work is dope.
“And no matter how I may suffer for my art, I will have no regrets. This is the way I have lived my life, and it is the way I shall go on living” – Yayoi Kusama
This popped up in my memories the other day from two years ago when I visited the Kusama Infinity Mirrors exhibit in Toronto. Truly breathtaking, and I think this is the one that resonated with me the most. This one is the “The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away”.
