Umbran sat at the far end of Cruise's Bar, hood up and facial mask on as he waited for Illex to show up. He was looking forward to catching up with the blue Hunter. He was certainly curious how X would react to hear he'd massacred a huge meeting of Emerald Spears. He still smirked to himself when he thought about it.

However, having been so focused on his own business lately, he knew nothing of what had happened to X since their last meeting. The argument with Zero, X being ambushed by a Nightmare virus and the ensuing chaos that occurred from it.

His internal clock beeped that it was 8pm. Red eyes glanced at the front entrance, waiting to see the familiar bot walking in.

“Unless you’re a bit tied up~” vines snaked their way out of the darkness and towards Hub, two seemingly sentient ones hanging around the red eyes.

That strange signal looked suspicious, but if it could be seen even from all the way in the wastelands someone must want attention. She hopped on her scooter driving closer to the outskirts of city limits just to grab a clearer picture of the signal.

A ‘C’? That...that couldn’t possibly be for the Cryptid. 

“...well, if it happens to be just that, they’ll certainly grab her attention. Look at you Shaska, getting your own light signal.” Such a silly way of calling her out though. She giggled there before taking off down a dirt path for more drift training.

Blackout was very much enjoying the show around him—delicious chaos, a breech of trust and faltering hope. To see the city’s pride and joy fall under the hold of the virus, no matter how temporary this may be...

Colonel just groans a bit. Seems like even after all of this, there was still people who did not trust him, both humans... and Reploids. He did not blame them. What they did... what Repliforce did... it was unforgivable. They should’ve just stood down and been willing to be interrogated. But instead they got dragged into this massive mess, which was still being evaluated and discussed between both human and Reploid law enforcers. Colonel has been given an early chance to redeem himself due to no immediate contact with Sigma and his Virus.

But he still had to deal with Zero, it seems. “Hmf... as you say, I suppose. But know this. I’ve long since quit the Repliforce. I do not want to be further associated with them. So whatever grudge you have against me I urge you to drop it. It’ll serve no good to hold it against me.”
