What do you think about two INFJs coming together for a relationship? Would they be compatible?
INFJ: Well, you got the dangers of getting two very possible emo trash™ together. They could latch onto each others “inefficient” traits. Instead of the calm rational answers of my INTJ, I could see this happening if I got together with another INFJ I know:
INFJ 1: In the end, nothing we do has a meaning.
INFJ 2: Right? Time will undo everything we manage to accomplish.
INFJ 1: I don’t feel like getting out of bed.
INFJ 2: Same.
ISFJ: …pls stop.
Then again, having two people that pretty much can read minds together could feel awesome. It depends on how you connect and more importantly, about why you connect.
~~
INTJ: I do believe two INFJs can be compatible (any types can). The cognitive functions are not the only trait that characterises an individual, let alone the complexities of a relationship.
That being stated, two persons that share the same type can have a specific function more developed than the other individual and therefore balance each other, which is what usually is looked for in relationships between people that have one or two different traits (I/E and J/P for example).
In sum, both the pros and cons of an INFJ x2 relationship will be based on their similarities.
Pros: same insight, similar way of understanding and processing information, possibly similar or complementary interests and priorities.
Cons: same needed areas of growth such as being more objective and flexible, more open communication and being able to see beyond their own values.
~Good luck and thanks for asking!

Doing MBTI relationship pairing examples!
Soooo I was thinking about doing film/TV relationship MBTI pairings. The goal is to eventually have a couple of examples for each type in a relationship with all 16 of the types! I’m going to be doing it on basis of request-so basically first in first served kinda thing.
- Note: you MAY include the characters you would like in the example, however, if I haven’t seen the show or film I will either pick another, or just watch the movie (but this might take a bit of time)
How would you describe an INFJ-INFJ relationship, particularly at a romantic standpoint? What do you think are positives and the negatives of such a relationship?
I think I’ve answered this before but I didn’t give it it’s own tag so it wouldn’t be easy to find in the mess that is my blog.
Anyway, I read on one website that INFJs are more likely than any other type to marry people of their same type! And it makes sense seeing is we feel so misunderstood all the time that we would want to be with someone who actually gets where we are coming from. INFJxINFJ ships are very near to my heart and one of my favorite ships. INFJs won’t overpower each other or demand too much of each other like two other same types might. They will both have similar expectations of one another, kindness, patience, understanding, etc. They both aren’t overly critical and will know how to avoid hurting each others feelings. They will probably want similar amounts of affection, time together, time apart, and time with friends. They might have similar goals or they at least will easily be able to understand each others goals and where they are coming from. Communication style is the same and they will probably be more in tune with what one another is thinking and feeling than any other person before.
On the more negative side, having both partners be intuitives means the housework and money management will suffer. This might cause some issues between the two of them. And with INFJs not being confrontational, if there is a problem they will unhealthily avoid the subject and possibly create resentments. There is also the possibility of the emotions between the two of them being too intense for them to handle at times because if one of them gets upset, the other will feel what they are feeling and get upset too and they will just feed off of each others negative emotions to create one great ball of awful. Of course it goes the same way with happiness though too which is why they probably get together in the first place because when it is good, it’s probably the best thing in the world.
That’s all I can think of at the moment and I have a million other asks to answer so I hope that’s enough for now!
Stay Awesome
