May I ask why you typed cassian andor as an ISTP rather than ISTJ? :)

Indeed you can. I grappled with ISTJ and ISTP. For me it is how he goes about his loyalties that made me decide ISTP over ISTJ. He is willing to make the cold and logical decision over any form of value/moral judgment or over group/system associations. He has his own moral code and sense of honor, but it is not set up in the same way as the ISTJ would. His tertiary Ni, as an ISTP would explain his ISTJ like behavior in sticking to plans, etc.

I want you all to be happy. Even if everything sucks at the moment for you, or if you feel afraid or guilty or wrong or betrayed. If you feel like you are trapped inside your head- just for a moment try to make everything stop and live in a different world. Just sit in a car, or outside, or with your pet (if you don’t have one find one on the street or steal your neighbours perhaps). Just breathe and know that even if everything is bad in reality, you can have a moment of peace in the other world. Meanwhile, everything will keep moving forward in the real world, and you will end up okay.

MBTI relationship pairings in film/TV - ISFPxENTP

Jesse (ENTP) and Beca (ISFP) from Pitch Perfect. 

These types might find difficultly when first establishing a relationship due to the typically private nature of ISFP’s. However, once trust has been established, both of these types are committed to helping each other explore new ideas and keep each other grounded. The ISFP will admire the ENTP’s quick wit, and can often match it themselves. This makes for the two to find each other incredibly entertaining. Typically, these two will be loyal and affectionate once they have found their feet in the dynamic. 

Pros of this pairing:

- Very chill, have fun hanging out and work especially well as friends.

- They know each others boundaries and respect them

- They are loyal and trustworthy

- They give each other various perspectives on issues, and the ISFP enjoys listening to the grand ideas of the ENTP.

- The ISFP is typically very reserved and might find the ENTP to be weird and off-putting

- The battle of Fi Vs Fe. The ENTP may see the ISFP as selfish or neglectful if they are unhealthy and the ISFP may see the ENTP as not blunt or understanding enough if they don’t understand the ISFP’s feelings and opinions.

- Additionally, Fi is certain of itself, having tertiary Fe however, is not so much. The ENTP may find themselves playing the devils advocate, which can offend the values of the ISFP if it is an early stage of the relationship.

- The ISFP may find the ENTP to be attention craving in certain situations, and public embarrassment is never what the ISFP wants.

MBTI FACT #1:

According to Carl Jung;

- Sensing functions- Se & Si, and Intuition functions- Ne & Ni are perceptive.

- Thinking functions- Te & Ti, and Feeling functions- Fe & Fi are judging.

This means that dichotomous type codes do not dictate a person’s traits, as behaviours of each function will overlap within any given type and will work in varying ways. So, for example, an ISFJ leads with a perceiving function- Si. Whilst the stereotype suggests that ISFJ’s will be more rigid and uptight, it’s not uncommon for them to be accepting and outwardly laid back.

Whether someone is a ‘J’ or a ‘P’ does not say much about how their functions operate, it simply points to their most used extraverted function. In extraverts, their dominant, in introverts, their auxiliary.
