Coleco - Spatial EP (INFLECT001) Label: Inflect Audio Released: 21/4/14 (digital) With two years behind their belts pushing the new wave of uptempo music influenced by footwork, drum n bass, hip hop and beyond, with a string of nights in Bristol and a blog featuring guest mixes from some of the finest in the scene amongst more, Inflect launches their label imprint Inflect Audio with the "Spatial" EP from co-founder Coleco. Seeing early support from Rockwell, dBridge and Sam Binga, the "Spatial" EP meshes the minimal autonomic drum and bass sound with militant US Trap stylings. Coleco delves deep, combining ripping, heavily modulated techstep-esq reese basslines and heaving 808 drum hits with dry, clipped, punchy drum work.
