Coleco - Conduit (Free Download)
Coleco offers up a free track, titled "Conduit" via the new Inflect Audio Bandcamp page. "Conduit" takes the listener on a poignant half step journey through futurist electronica soundscapes. A thudding kick and ghostly reverberant snare giving a sense of desolute space, an opening for etheric and emotive chord structures, which build up from forboding and dystopian, through nostalgic yet hopeful, into a full force of momentum and forward reaching with the introduction of a driving arpeggio. Seeing early support from Rockwell, dBridge and Sam Binga, the "Spatial" EP meshes the minimal autonomic drum and bass sound with militant US Trap stylings. Coleco delves deep, combining ripping, heavily modulated techstep-esq reese basslines and heaving 808 drum hits with dry, clipped, punchy drum work.
