Two Of Time's Most Influential Teens
The sky's the limit once they actually do, say or write something.
Hi! I just went on Facebook where I saw a post from time magazine (I think, not sure), and it was a link to their most influential teenagers.. What caught my eye was that Nash Grier was on that list, and I want to know what you think of this? It disgust me that someone would think that he's influential..
I checked it out and found the list here, and yes, it’s TIME magazine.
I am disgusted, yet again, in TIME for including this jackass on their list. No one should look up to that homophobe. And they even mention that in his description!!
His meteoric rise to fame hasn’t been without scandal: Grier was slammed for using a homophobic slur on one of his since-deleted Vines.
But apparently, according to TIME, you can be as big a homophobe as you want as long as you’re making thousands of dollars in endorsement deals.
And all of (or most of) the other teens on the list truly deserve to be there.
Mo’ne Davis is a black, female athlete who played in the Little League World Series and was on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Jazz Jennings is a transgender author and the youngest person ever featured in the Out 100.
Ciara Judge, Emer Hickey, and Sophie Healy-Thow won the grand prize at the Google Science Fair.
Lydia Ko is the third-ranked female golfer worldwide.
Malala Yousafzai is the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Tavi Gevinson founded Rookie, an online magazine for teen girls.
And there are many more. There are amazing young people on this list, but the inclusion of Nash Grier tarnishes the whole thing.
Time Magazine released their annual ranking of the most influential teens, but we want to know...
Who's on your list?

The world’s youngest person to win the Nobel Prize, Malala Yousafzai, president Obama’s two daughter’s Malia and Sasha Obama make Time Magazine’s 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014 list. These teenagers, according to Time, were ranked based on ‘social-media followings, cultural accolades, business acumen and more.’
