I have some logical reasons on why J's "fun" was cut short 1) Dil (IndulgentArcher) gave him a rune against tricksters and he never took it off. 2) J was having a really bad low when crow found him so, even forced, his body couldn't produce enough dopamine to keep him trickster, causing him to become really glitchy. 3) Crow never fully kissed him on the mouth, leaving the effect shortened. So yeah.
