NU’EST Teases With A Dark Group Teaser of ‘Q Is.’

After giving L.O.V.Es a taste of their upcoming 4th mini-album ‘Q is.’, NU’EST official has released another shot, this time of the whole group, with a 180 degree change from their earlier, pastel teasers.

Donning a slim-cut, fitting suits in navy and teal, the boys of NU’EST showcased a more mature charm with a hint of a darker fairytale at play. Just who is the Queen in their story? Only time will tell.

NU’EST 4th Mini-Album ‘Q is.’ Details (update 160205)

As online preorders are appearing on various sites such as Synnara and Kpopmart, more details of the album have been revealed in small snippets of the album-synopsis.

Major takeaway points are as follow:

The album will pieced together fragments of L.O.V.E.

NU'EST set to return with distinctive music, performance and new visuals.

Main concept of 'Q is.' stands for 'Queen', tells the story of the members' wishes to protect her, bringing the fairytale of a 2D manhwa* into a 4D reality. 

The new mini-album will consist of 5 tracks, tailored in a way that each tells a story that completes a puzzle from first song to the last.

*Manhwa is the general Korean Chinese term for comics and print cartoons.

In related news, international fans can now start their pre-orders on the likes of Kpopmart and Synnara.

Pledis Boss Teases On NU’EST’s Comeback, Members Involved in Production

As February arrives, NU’EST gets ready to release their long-awaited comeback; as we make our countdown, more and more little pieces of information has been released.

According to OSEN, the comeback is scheduled sometime this month, with Baekho involved in album producing. That’s not all as the members too, will be involved in writing the songs, creating an album duly in their own sound. This isn’t the first time NU’EST members have participated in written lyrics, as the rappers in the group, JR and Aron have both previously done their own rap making verses such as Sleep Talking Spoiler, and Lend Me Your Shoulder.

Anticipation is building with Pledis’ CEO releasing a snapshot of what seemed like the venue of a photoshoot with the hashtag #NUEST.

Kye Bumzu, Pledis’ resident mentor and producer have been posting several updates in regards to NU’EST’s comeback preparations, and his latest Instavid update especially drew attention at the mention of both NU’EST comeback and SEVENTEEN encore concert, though it is not sure what the beats played would be used for.

NU’EST Asks For Your Hand To ‘Bridge The World’ In New Photo Teasers

More teaser photos have been revealed for the upcoming Japanese album, and this time, the boys of NU’EST are seen asking for your hand in their dashing suits with striking patterns. A splash of rainbow could be seen in the background, as it did on the album covers that was revealed yesterday.

With a month to go till the album drops, the boys are currently actively engaged in a series of pre-release promotional activities, and will be having a series of album release promotions lined up for their lucky Japanese fans. 

In related news, the boys will be performing at KMF2015 in Sapporo, alongside BTOB and MR.MR today.

NU’EST Unveils Album Covers For ‘Bridge The World’

With slightly a little more than a moth to go till the release of Bridge The World album and full-steam ahead on their pre-release promotions, NU’EST has unveiled the album covers for all three editions of Bridge the World (see above, in anti-clockwise, Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B and Normal CD).

As seen in the photos, the boys of NU’EST has suited up in quirky, fun prints and gingham checked pants for both limited-edition CD+DVDs, while going for a more dandy look in their normal CD version. 

Fans who had seen some of the performance photos from their Bridge The World tour floating about would have noticed the checkered pants and bowties-plus-suits; Ren has also kindly uploaded a couple more shots of what seemed like was taken at the photoshoot earlier today and previously (see one, two and three). The other members have also teased at the concept a while back, including Minhyun (see one and two, possibly three), Aron (see here) and Baekho (see here).

HMV is one of the largest online album sales site, though not much information is known about it.

While CDJapan and YesAsia are both official working partners with Oricon charts, YesAsia has specifically mention that international sales shipped outwards from Japan will not count on the charts. However, both CDJapan and YesAsia’s weekly sales are updated to Oricon. On the other hand, HMV does not explicitly mention if the orders counts.

Pre-orders for「BRIDGE THE WORLD」Now Available on YESASIA

As previously mentioned, NU’EST will be releasing their first full-length Japanese album ‘Bridge The World’ this November. As HMV opens their pre-orders for said album in Japan, international audiences could now start your pre-orders on YESASIA!

While YESASIA is the official sales data provider for Oricon, the items shipped outside of Japan will not be counted for Oricon charts.

The album is expected to drop on 18 Nov, and Minhyun’s solo song will be first revealed on 23 Sep, at NU’EST Japan Tour 2015 ~Bridge The World~ Tokyo, Maihama stop, the only stop where he is scheduled to perform said song.

NU'EST To Release Special Album 'I'm Bad' On 27th Feb Online

According to TenAsia and TheStar Chosun, NU'EST is set to release their first digital single titled 'I'm Bad' online on the 27th in light of their third anniversary.

Unfortunately, as main vocals Baekho is still recovering from his vocal node surgery, he would not be participating on the title track. EDIT: Baekho would be recording in the follow-up track in the special album. 

The single will be available online starting the 27th, but a limited edition, physical special album will be released on the day of their debut anniversary on 15 Mar. The album will have two tracks is expected to have special photo(cards) of the members along with hidden messages.

There have been no updates on which digital platforms it'll be released on yet, nor how to purchase a limited edition physical copy. It is also unconfirmed if NU'EST would even be promoting the song. 

Nonetheless, this is a special album that the members worked on to thank L.O.ㅅ.Es for their last three years of support, and we do wish the release a major success!
